Pre Black Friday Sale at Avara

Happy Sunday, friends! I am coming to you a tad early this week. I have decided to post today rather than wait for tomorrow since the sale ends soon. While quite a few things are already selling out I wanted to be sure you had a chance to take advantage of this sale!

Between you and me I don’t think Black Friday is really a thing anymore. It used to be pretty special and a lot of fun but I don’t really think so anymore. In fact, the sales start earlier and earlier and many people have all of their shopping done before Thanksgiving! Personally I shop online and while I do most of it on Black Friday, there are a fee pre Black Friday sales I enjoy shopping. I’m also pretty impressed with the Abby jacket. It doesn’t scream holiday and can be styled festively and then enjoyed long after the decorations have come down. That’s a major plus in my book!

A great one and done piece is the Aurora jumpsuit! I’d wear it with a fun faux fur coat – think New Year’s Eve, date night, girl’s night out!

Talk about a versatile piece, the Diane skirt is perfect not only for the holiday season but any affair! I love the design – the pleating at the waist is so flattering and the hint of metallic interwoven in the allover floral pattern. Wear it with a fitted top or sweater and pretty heels!

Tried and True Avara Favorites

Of course I have several tried and true favorites from Avara. I have always been impressed with their collection of denim. A few of the pieces I got last year I am excited to wear again this year like my Jackie sweater and Tinsley blazer. The Jackie sweater comes in other colors btw and sells out each year. It’s incredibly soft and has such a cool, mod cut. The sweater looks great with my chocolate denim and my favorite pair of blue denim this year.

The Ashlyn jacket is new this year and I am smitten! You all really liked it too! I love it with denim just as much as I do with a slip skirt.

I hope you take lots of photos and you are in them – and even more than that you love how you look and feel confident. I may be going off on a tangent here but losing people I love is hard and I find solace in looking through old photos and recalling happy memories.
