TGIF! This week has been a little bit of different one for me. Each year the virtual school I work for has a mandatory in-person professional learning conference for 3 days. It is nice to see other humans but I am very happy to have it come to an end. The conference is huge and it’s exhausting. Enough of that, let’s talk about happy, positive things like this week’s favorites!
Friday Favorites – November 15
Monday was Veteran’s Day and had me missing my very favorite veteran of all time. My dad. This is a photo of him when he got to meet his first born child – my sister – when she was 2 months old and he was on leave! I think he looks so very much like my younger son.
I went to Ulta last weekend to stop on a few things and ended up finding a new concealer that I am LOVING so far! I wear the shade 4.5 called DO YOU. It doesn’t get cakey or crease. I swear, I have never seen anything like it.
The one thing I sort of look forward to when I have to actually attend work in person is getting dressed! The only caveat is that we are walking SO MUCH and quickly too. So the shoes need to be comfortable. The dress code is business casual except for the last day when we can wear jeans and sneakers. These were some of my outfit contenders:
On Monday my blog post was all about sparkle & shine, remember? Well…the same day these two pieces arrived and I am smitten!
One last piece that arrived this week is this sequin jacket called Ashlyn from Avara. It is so pretty and would be perfect for the holiday season or even a wedding or other dressy affair. I am wearing a size small, use my code THISBLONDE15 to save on this! I’m going to be working on a Christmas season bucket list. I’m a little nervous actually, which probably sounds crazy. But I am goal driven so if I write it then it almost has to happen. I’ll see how I handle it but overall I am excited!
