Happy Friday, friends! Here’s hoping you had a good week and that you are ready for the weekend. I’m even more excited for it since it’s a long weekend with Veteran’s Day on Monday! Over the years I have come to better understand and have a new appreciation for our Veterans. Today’s post is a recap of joy bringers from the week.

Last Friday the two pieces I ordered from Kendra Scott arrived! It took me approximately 2 minutes to put these gorgeous pieces on! They are fabulous!

On Saturday I filmed a Get Ready With Me make up edition on Instagram. You can see it here if you want, these are the products I am currently using. It brought me joy to get good feedback on this and it was fun to step outside my comfort zone and do this.

Speaking of make up, the Sephora sale is going on now! Obviously I like drug store make up but I do like this brow gel.

The biggest joy bringer from the week was having our younger son home! It was a quick trip, less than 48 hours but I’ll take what I can get!

Last Saturday night we had dinner out with friends and then walked through an art gallery. Well…these cool pieces had me so excited! I was especially entranced by Frankie the deer. I wanted to buy him so badly! Unfortunately my husband wasn’t nearly as in love and when I tried to get my son on board he heard the price ($529) and voiced an extremely negative opinion! Ha!! I enjoy something funky and unexpected, Frankie has my heart. The rabbit is Eric and I like him too!

I send a fair amount of my time on the computer and enjoy listening/watching tv occasionally. It’s hard to find good shows when you’re such an avid consumer – ha! Anyway, I enjoyed Don’t Move on Netflix last weekend. Have you seen it?

No Joy Here!

On Thursday morning I snapped this photo of the temp on my watch. It wasn’t even 4am and look at the temperature! It is ridiculously hot right now and I am not feeling any joy about that. I am hoping this will change soon. Did you know I wake up well before dawn to meet my friends to walk and then work out. I have been doing it for YEARS.

Did anything bring you joy this week? I think we can always find something and I believe it is important to do. It might be something very simple or maybe it’s something rather big but identify it and embrace it!
