This edition of Thursday Fashion Files is all about my recent purchase experience with Quince. My first purchase from this online retailer was few years ago when I bought a washable silk blouse. I liked it so much I bought a second. Lately I have been hearing more and more about their cashmere and blazers so I thought it would be a good time to place an order. This post is not sponsored, I bought everything myself to help both you and I answer the question: Is Quince Worth It?
Is Quince Worth It?

Sounds good, right? Luxury products that are affordably priced is a dream come true! With fabrics like silk and cashmere as well as Italian leather, the website is a treasure trove!
What I ordered
Based on what I was seeing on both Instagram and YouTube, I ordered 4 items. While it was difficult to decide because there were so many choices, I knew I wanted to check out the blazer, a cashmere sweater, pants, and a tie neck silk blouse. The total for the 4 pieces I ordered came in at just under $300. Honestly, that total is not bad at all when you consider the quality of the clothing.
Side note: these photos were taken during Hurricane Milton so excuse some of the mess you see in the photos. Also? Because of all the chaos I took very few photos and wished I’d done a better job. Granting myself some grace and moving along.
The Scuba Captain’s Convertible Blazer
Well, you know how much I love a good blazer! This one has it all – feels incredible and the fit is perfection. The Scuba Captain’s Convertible Blazer is a mouthful but I would say it is worth every penny of it’s $89 price tag. It’s inspired by the Veronica Beard Dickey Blazer ($695) and there are even interchangeable inserts (the convertible part). If you are looking to own one quality blazer, this is it! It comes in navy and in black. I ordered it in size small.
The inserts available include a cashmere hoodie, cashmere ribbed collar, and a fleece hoodie. The inserts button onto the inside of your blazer and totally transform the look!
Verdict: I was very torn! I decided to return it only because I didn’t think I’d wear it enough. That sounds ridiculous even as I type it but because I work from home and have so many blazers, I sent it back. However, I may buy it in black with a cashmere hoodie insert!
Mongolian Cashmere Crewneck Sweater
I have been wanting to add a cashmere sweater to my wardrobe for some time. But I could never decide on one. This one got such rave reviews and I can see why. It’s lightweight and feels amazing on. It comes in 14 colors and ranges in size from XS-XL; I got rich burgundy in a size small. The cashmere crewneck sweater is $50.
Verdict: I kept this!
Stretch Crepe Ankle Pants
The stretch crepe ankle pants are very nice and would be great for a dressy occasion or a professional work environment. I thought the fit on me was just okay and for $59.90 I wasn’t in love. They come in 4 color ways and sizes 0-16; I ordered a size 4 but if I was going to keep these I might have liked a 6 better. It may be because I have been wearing so many wide leg, looser fitting pants lately but I felt like the slim leg on these was constricting.
Verdict: I returned this!
Washable Stretch Silk Tie Neck Blouse
The washable stretch silk tie neck blouse is excellent quality and the fit is stellar! The silk feels incredible on and I love that it is machine washable. There are so many ways to wear this pretty blouse either dressed up or more casually. I ordered a size small and liked the fit. It comes in 7 colorways and sizes XS-XL. The price is $79.
Verdict: I returned this even though I really liked it. I am trying to make peace with the fact that I lead a more casual lifestyle and that is where I need to invest my money. So, back it went.
One of the features I really like on the Quince website is the detail! Take a look below at the details on the blouse; not only does Quince tell you about the fabric but the detail about the non-hazardous fabric is impressive as well. The price comparison to other brands is nice too!

Final Thoughts on Quince
Even though I only kept the cashmere crewneck sweater, I think this was a successful shopping haul. Everything was so well made and the quality was on par with much higher end brands – better than Loft, Target, and Walmart. Quince also has free shipping and free returns making it very convenient to shop!
They have leather handbags, shoes, and even home products! Quince honestly has a bit of everything and based on this experience I will definitely place an order again in the future. Have you tried Quince yet?
