The first Friday of summer seems like a great time to share a few things I’m loving lately! This week was a busy one, I had Monday off for Juneteenth and spent the day at the beach. That was wonderful! My apologies for not having a blog post that day. I simply ran out of the desire to do anything more than relax a bit over the weekend.
Loving Lately
Let’s start with a couple of food items I am loving lately. The first is this recipe for baked ziti in the crock pot. I will NEVER make ziti another way again. This was a game changer and my family enjoyed it. Also, these cookies are to die for!
I try to watch what I snack on but my son’s girlfriend introduced us to these pretzels and they are insanely good. If you like Auntie Anne’s pretzels, you will love these! On Sunday evening I crushed a few up and put them on my salad, SO GOOD!!!
Products I am Loving Lately
A few months ago I shared my favorite inexpensive foundation. I still love it but I have another one that I like even better! This one has hyaluronic acid and is actually a tinted serum. It absolutely feels like I am wearing skin care and not make up at all. I use the color 3-4 Light Medium.
I also mentioned this mascara. After using it now for a few months I can say it is fabulous! Here’s the thing, I used to be able to use any mascara but the older I’ve gotten the more mascara runs! A tubing mascara works the best for me and this one is inexpensive. I always use it with this primer.
Clothes I am Loving Lately
On Tuesday I popped into Old Navy and tried on some Summer Essentials. For some reason I hemmed and hawed about buying this top. I am so glad I did! Amy influenced me and I am so glad she did. It is very well made. Part of me was afraid I wouldn’t have much to wear it with – but I was wrong. Here are a few different ways to style this fun top!
Straw Bags I am Loving
Last week I ordered two straw bags from Amazon. They are completely different styles and of course I like them both. They are both well made and so stylish! Which one do you like?
