Early Spring from Loft

Last week I stopped by my local Loft store to see what was new in person! I was so happy to see so many bright and fun colors and styles. A few of the things I was hoping to see were not at my local store. I am friendly with the manager and she shared with me that a few of the other stores were getting those things. She also shared that in April even more spring styles will be released! So, join me in the fitting room for an early spring from Loft try on.

One of the things I really enjoy about Loft is that the quality is consistent. Everything I tried on was well made. Their sizing is fairly consistent too – vanity sizing at it’s best! Sine learning that I was wrong about my height and that I am actually 5’3.5″ I am entertaining the notion that I may need petite sizing in some things. Unfortunately not everything I tried was available in petite sizing so a few of the pieces look like they’re wearing me!

These patch pocket twill shorts are called Palmer. I thought the color was so pretty! We’re seeing lots of blue in 2024. They aren’t too short and they aren’t too long and they come in 3 color ways. Interesting to note, they are available in petite sizing too!

As I shopped I found myself searching for pieces that would mix and match so the shirts I chose to wear with the shorts also went to well with the denim I tried. This pair of high rise straight jeans felt great on and were the perfect length. I liked the lighter color for spring and summer.

I could hardly resist these pretty printed wide leg pull on pants! They felt so fabulous on! I tried them on with a solid black blouse because I felt print on to and on bottom would be a bit overwhelming on me.

The cutest cargo skirt was sadly practically sold out at the store! I tried on one in a size that was way too big so I tried to grab the back and imagine how it would work.

Speaking of cargo, I don’t own any cargo jeans so I tried these on! They were a surprise for me, I actually really liked them. They looked so different on the hanger but felt so good on.

I loved this suit but for some reason I cannot get Loft blazers to fit me correctly. This probably would have worked in a petite. The store offered to order it for me but I declined. Not sure how I missed taking a photo of the pants on their own but I did, ugh. They are cute! They have a side zip and the mariner style button detail in the front. The blazer is so pretty and I think it would be great with white pants or shorts, over dresses, in other words – super versatile!

Same thing with these dresses, my goodness they look matronly on me! Both were so pretty on the hanger.

I did decide to buy one shirt, this pretty striped one! I’ve already worn it a few times too. That’s the sign of a good purchase in my book. There were a few things I was hoping to find in store but I’ll go back in April and maybe they’ll be there then. Have you been to Loft lately?
