Happy Friday, friends! I am so happy to head into the weekend, how about you? Today I had to share this crochet top as my Friday Favorite because I ordered it on a whim! Seriously. I had every intention of returning it but thought I’d check it out. Now, I have to admit, I’m kinda crazy about it.
Crochet Top
Crochet is nothing new, it’s been around for ages. However, it’s gaining in popularity as sheer clothing is trending right now. Crochet is a nice option for those of us not ready for the an entire sheer top. I spotted this one on Abercrombie and thought I’d give it a go. Living in Florida makes it the perfect alternative to a sweater for this time of year through Fall.
My particular top comes in 2 colorways, white and brown. The brown color is more of a tan shade and I really like it! I ordered a size medium and like the fit – it comes in sizes ranging from XXS-XL. I wanted it to be a bit oversized and it is. Order your regular size for a slimmer, shorter fit. It is currently on sale – grab yours! Also? I am wearing a cami from Walmart underneath, super simple!
Styling the Crochet Top
This piece is honestly more versatile than I imagined. It seamlessly blends into my classic pieces and adds a modern flair. This is key as we mature; staying modern, fresh, and relevant doesn’t mean you have to jump on every trend. Instead you can build your wardrobe of essentials that you’ll reach for over and over again and throw in a trendy piece here and there!
So Many More Possibilities
I feel as though I have just scratched the surface with this crochet top. I’ll wear it with shorts and of course denim. Adding one new piece breathes life into my closet, and I’m having fun! How would you style this top? Are you a fan of crochet?
