Fall is a great time of the year to wear a cute and casual dress. It’s not too cool yet to cover up your legs completely so for some of us, this time of year is last call for bare legs! Building on my post from Monday, I have two more affordable casual Fall dresses to share today!

Affordable Casual Fall Dresses
When the weather is still somewhat warm a shorter dress with longer sleeves says Fall to me. I’ve heard the way to dress for Fall is to show skin in one area and cover up the rest. So if you show some leg, then wear a close toed shoe or boot, and longer sleeves. That makes sense, right? Whereas in Spring or Summer legs are bare, shoes are open toed, and sleeves are short.
An affordable casual Fall dress works for so many reasons. Dinner out, festivals, shopping, even some work environments. Wear a casual dress in place of shorts. On Monday I shared the knit midi dress and today I have two others – a denim dress and pretty floral swing dress.
Casual & Affordable Denim Dress for Fall
This denim dress is like no other. I am crazy about the cut. It has pockets and smocking at the sleeves – making it easier to push them up. It’s relaxed through the body and flares out at the hem. This dress comes in all the sizes! Petite, Tall, Average, and plus sizes too. Old Navy calls this dress the Puff Sleeve Non-Stretch Jean Mini Poet Swing Dress. Now that’s a mouthful! I call it the best denim dress. I am wearing the dress in a medium but I think a small might fit better through the body.

Denim and cognac look so good together so I wore my Vionic Harper booties. They are so comfortable- of course – and they are water repellent. These booties come in this color) toffee suede as well as black leather.

Puff Sleeve Floral Mini Swing Dress for Fall
Lightweight and lovely, this puff sleeve floral mini swing dress comes in black and white as well as pink. It has an empire waist that is so flattering and it’s made of rayon. This is the perfect type of dress for Thanksgiving! It’s flattering yet comfortable but has room for a few indulgences!

This dress is size inclusive as well. I am wearing it in a medium and I’d say it is a bit short on my 5’5″ frame. My Target off white sock booties are perfect with this print.

Add a Layer
As it cools down, you can add a long cardigan or duster. A denim jacket works great too! The possibilities are endless – you could even layer underneath the dress if needed. I love adding a felt hat too!

What do you think about these dresses? Do you have a favorite? I hope you are as excited about Fall as I am!
