Spring Tops from Express

One of the easiest ways to update a wardrobe is with a few tops. It’s an easy way to add new interest in old pieces a breathe fresh air into your day to day rotation. My love affair with Express has been renewed in recent years and the collection of Spring tops caught my attention.

Spring Tops from Express

The nice thing about Express is the variety – everything from work clothes to casual wear to dresses you could wear to a wedding and the best affordable denim all in one place. Express makes phenomenal blazers too. Bottom line: Express offers great quality clothing in designs and cuts that flatter a woman’s body. The Spring tops I stumbled upon filled some holes in my wardrobe and I can dress them up or down since they are so versatile. I’ve got 4 tops to share today and I think you’ll love them as much as I do!

Bodysuit

A few years ago I bought these bodysuits. I love the fabric and the way a body suit not only smooths the mid section but stays tucked. I wanted something with a little more coverage so I opted for this version. The silky fabric has a very subtle sheen making it day or evening appropriate yet incredibly comfortable. I am wearing a medium.

Yes, you can see my bra – I wore a jacket when I went out but since I wanted you to see the bodysuit I bared it all! Ha!!

Spring Floral Top

This pretty floral top for Spring is a statement maker! With its ruffle sleeve detail, colorful floral print, ruched front, and banded bottom. As someone who is short waisted, I love how it sits at my waist and works perfectly with so many high waisted bottoms. The v-neck is also very flattering and it’s made of cotton and spandex so it holds its shape. This top was just what I was looking for and will be so nice to wear out this Spring and Summer! P.S. these pants are so good – just got them and I am in love – a great option if you don’t love wearing shorts. I am wearing them in a small and I ordered them in the 2 other colors they come in!

Printed Boxy Shirt

I was attracted to the fun print on this boxy shirt. It gives off a retro vibe and the colors are so bright and cheery. I love it with the neon berry shorts but it will look great with denim, white jeans or shorts, pink pants, black pants, even a pair of orange wide leg pants I own – see? So. Versatile. I am wearing the shirt in a size small and the shorts in a size 6.

Neon Berry Button Up

The cotton blend boyfriend Portofino shirt in neon berry is one I purchased a few months ago. I simply cannot get enough button up shirts and I especially like the boyfriend style. In my climate and given my work-from-home lifestyle, the matching shorts made a lot of sense. I had purchased the pants but ended up returning them because I didn’t think I’d wear them enough. But since I love a matching set, I didn’t hesitate ordering the shorts. I am wearing the shirt in a small and the shorts in a size 6. Yes, I know, the shirt needs to be ironed.

Don’t forget, if you love my Teddy Blake bag you can use my code TBKellyann30 to get $30 off a bag of your own! These bags rival expensive, luxury brands!

This post from Anna grabbed my attention in last week’s link up. I think she looks fabulous (her blog is called Looking Fabulous at 50!) in this black dress and I love the pop of color from her shoes. So well done!
