Welcome to Fashion Files! This week I am sharing Stylish Winter Outfits to wear right now. You can re-create these with what you have but of course I am sharing shopping information if needed. This time of year everyone seems to be getting antsy for warmer weather but let’s not wish the days away – let’s dress for them!
Stylish Winter Outfits
One of the key pieces in a stylish winter outfit is a great coat. Depending on where you live and what your weather is like, this might mean a wool coat or something lighter. I have been layering with a coatigan lately and have found it to fit the bill nicely. It’s a heavier knit and more structured than a cardigan. I love the way it pulls an outfit together!
The lady jacket trend continues in 2024 and honestly, I cannot ever imagine it going away. This classic style may not be as trendy in a year but you won’t regret owning a lady jacket. The JCrew version (now on sale!) I bought last fall continues to be a favorite but I love the two solid color cardigans I bought last week.
The basic formula is the same for these outfits – jeans plus a top plus a 3rd completer piece! I did want to show the versatility of the lady jacket worn alone so that’s the reason one outfit has only two pieces. My goal, as always, is to be comfortable yet put together. I like to show up looking like I care not only about myself but also about where I am going and the people I’ll be with.
