Happy Friday, friends! Hard to believe it’s the end of the month, that’s a wrap February! My hope is that your week was filled with lots of good things and if not, then I’m here to say you survived and that things will get better. I’m the eternal optimist and I wholeheartedly believe this. So glad you’ve joined me today for a little glimpse of what tickled my fancy this week!
Friday Favorites – That’s a Wrap!
February has been an emotional month for me. People close to me have had some struggles, some very serious. It’s also been 6 years since my dad passed away. I’ve been in the throes of grief with friends and family lately. Here’s hoping March is a little lighter and fun!
So what’s the favorite here? Relationships. That’s right, even in the darkest times, we can find something positive. I’m grateful for the relationships I have with people. I am blessed that in their struggles they feel they can rely on me for support. I will say do not give up on people you care about. Keep reaching out, keep letting them know you are there when they are ready.
Life Changing!
I don’t usually say something is life changing but honestly, this is! The genius behind this product has me wondering why no one ever thought of this before! How many times have you had a product you had to dip a finger in to use?? My favorite lip mask for one. The exfoliating scrub I use on my face is another one. It’s kinda gross sticking your finger in the lip mask. I feel like I scoop out too much of my face scrub. This solves both of those problems! The little applicator scoops out the right amount and then conveniently is stored in a sleeve that sticks to the container!
Jeans, Glorious Jeans!
I am definitely a denim girl, especially since tight jeans are out and looser, more comfortable styles are in – and that means you’re seeing them everywhere! No more sausage casing looking denim. My latest pair from Chico’s have been worn so many times since they arrived. I love the loose leg that isn’t too wide and they are a great length so I can wear them with sneakers or flip flops. Anyway, here’s how I’ve been wearing them lately!
While I most definitely recommend my jeans from Chico’s, this pair is very similar from Amazon. They are less expensive and of course you have the free shipping and returns with Prime.

This faux fur is one I bought from an online boutique a friend shared on Instagram. I think it’s so much fun and so practical here in Florida. #not But I thought it was a great way to wear the denim and shows just how much fun you can have mixing styles!
Amy has influenced me to the point that I am SERIOUSLY considering ordering Halaras. They look amazing on her! I am thinking of getting them in black. I mean, heading into spring we all crave black denim, right? Ha!!! I’d love to know if you have tried Halaras and what you think!
Spring Top
Amy and Tanya both ordered this top last year and I should have ordered it then as well. But, better late than never! I finally got it and love it. It is very Lily inspired! The price is phenomenal as is the quality. I think it’s great with white denim and also with my favorite lighter wash.

Also? Confused about my hair in these photos? Don’t be. Sometimes I wear my hair topper and sometimes I don’t. Some days it looks great and other days not so much. I am trying to decide what to do with my natural hair. I haven’t had highlights in over a year and I like my natural color(the 2nd photo). But it doesn’t blend so easily with my topper because the topper is so much lighter. I think it looks ‘wiggy’ below. Well, now you know what’s happening in my head!

On My Radar
This is the time of year I start getting excited about spring clothes and shoes! I like to add cute tops and blouses as well as a pair of shoes. This pair is on my radar. I just love having a fun, neutral heel to wear with dresses and shorts among other things. The heel height says 3.6 inches BUT they have 1.6 inch platform height. My girl math says that’s like wearing a 2 inch heel but maybe that’s wrong??
I can’t wait to wear my brown linen pants from last summer. This button up is on my radar and so is this cute peplum top. I think they’d both look great with the pants. You know what else would look great with them? These shoes! Ha!! I am talking myself into them more and more!
