Happy Friday, friends! Here’s hoping your week was a good one and that you have something to look forward to this weekend. I don’t have any big plans but that is something I love about a weekend – free time! There are a few things to share with you that caught my eye this week, let’s get to it!
Loving These
This illuminating eye tint from Colleen Rothschild is number one on my love list this week. It definitely lives up to all the hype! I used to roll my eyes when I’d hear people say it “sells out quickly so grab it before it’s gone” but I am a believer. I use it before I put my make up on and it definitely helps with the dark circles under my eyes. It’s lightweight and doesn’t cake or crack. Have you tried this yet?
Are you a fan of the uber expensive Baccarat Rouge 540 perfume? It smells DIVINE and it should for that price. I heard about this from a YouTuber and ordered it. I’ll be darned, it smells DIVINE too! Seriously. I cannot get enough of myself when I have it on. It’s hard to see in the photo but it’s Dan Les Bois by Dime.
Wanting These
Even though it is still so hot (felt like 114 on Wednesday) I am getting excited for Fall fashion! I always do, and clearly I need to be living someplace cooler, but I digress. There are a few things that have caught my eye in the world of fashion. Dare I say I am creating a wish list? Dare me even more to only buy what’s on the list??? That might be too tall of an order but one can dream.
I want one of these cardigans. This is a style I have long loved – even had something similar on more than one occasion in the 80’s and 90’s! I’m sort of waiting for a sale and so far they have been excluded from all JCrew promotions. I am also unsure about the color – blue or black? Maybe camel?
Another item on my want list is a denim skirt – a midi length one. I keep seeing them on EVERYONE so no doubt I have been influenced but I’ll be honest (I always am btw) they never look good on me. I am hoping to try on a few and see if anything works. The problem I have is that denim skirts bunch up in the tummy area and just look weird on me.
Now let’s talk about jewelry because I have found a few things I really like! Julie Vos makes some beautiful pieces and so does Susan Shaw.
A new handbag in cognac is on my list too. I had a few on my wish list during the NSale but they were sold out.
Is there anything you are eyeing for Fall? Are you excited for a new season? I think the fun in Fall dressing comes from being able to layer. The colors and textures are fun too, maybe we’re just tired of the heat?Who knows for sure but every 3 months when the season officially changes I find myself excited!
