My search for the best shampoo and conditioner is ongoing. With fine, thin hair all my life I’ve learned a thing or two about how to deal with this head of mine. In the 80’s and 90’s I managed pretty well and rocked the big hair like no other! I’m fairly certain no one really knew just how fine my hair was. Of course I had a lot more of it thanks to my youth. In my 40’s and now 50’s the effects of aging as well as environment are suddenly taking a toll and it’s time to get serious about the products I use.
When I was younger I bought whatever drug store hair products smelled good. I couldn’t understand why I might want to pay more for something I was washing out of my hair, like shampoo and conditioner. I didn’t think they really made much of a difference. But I was wrong.

My hair concerns, other than having fine, thin hair, include very oily hair. Living in a hot, humid climate and working out as often as I do also means I was my hair more often than most.

I tried three products from VEGAMOUR: the GRO Scalp Detoxifying Serum, GRO Revitalizing Shampoo, and GRO Revitalizing Conditioner. In all honesty, I enjoyed each and every one of these three products.
The GRO Scalp Detoxifying Serum goes on before you wash you hair. I parted my hair into sections and applied it to my scalp. It wasn’t oily or heavy and did not irritate my scalp. No burning or itching – the serum seemed very gentle. I left it on for about 5-7 minutes while I got ready to get into the shower. But did it deliver? Yes, it did! My hair felt cleaner and my scalp less oily throughout the day. You know how men get that 5 o’clock shadow? I get the 5’oclock oilies. By the end of the ay my hair has had it, dry on the ends but oily at the scalp. That did not happen while I was using the serum! Use it weekly to remove buildup from your scalp.
Washing my hair with GRO RevitalizingShampoo was a treat! My bathroom smelled fruity and fabulous! After I had taken my shower my husband commented that the bathroom smelled so good. Following the shampoo, I used GRO Revitalizing Conditioner. My hair felt soft and silky and I really liked how well this rinsed out. Using these products, I had great hair days! My hair felt clean, shiny, and it was easy to style. I mention that because sometimes my hair feels weighed down by product.
