It seems I’ve made a complete 180 in regards to wide leg pants. I’ve gone from skepticism to the proud owner of 2 pair in recent weeks. Last week I shared my favorite pair and this week I’m back with another fun pair.
These pants grew on me. After first seeing them on my dear friend Laura of The Horton Family on Instagram I was drawn in by the pretty colors and vertical stripes. Then precious Andrea over at Living on Cloud Nine wore them on one of her Instastories and provided the link on her Like to Know It. That’s all it took and I was sold, or rather they were! Then on Monday they teamed up and shared their looks, both were absolutely precious!
I ordered online and picked them up in store – easy peasy and saved money on shipping. The colors are so pretty for spring and summer! I couldn’t wait to play around and see what tops I already owned that would work. The first time I wore them I paired this pink ruffle sleeve tee (similar). The pinks don’t match exactly but they work.
On Saturday I tried this top. White eyelet is so perfect for this time of year and this top combines both! I am wearing it in a small. I had to wear a strapless bra with it because the shoulders kept sliding down. It does come in navy as well.
The Universal Thread brand by Target is often compared to Madewell. This top is terrific! It’s lightweight and a great light wash for spring and summer. Again I am wearing a small in this one and it fits well. I like this one better!
My favorite wedges this year continue to go with everything and these pants are no exception. I grabbed two different bags to wear with these looks. Both of my bags were purchased last year but here are some cute and affordable options:
I can honestly say that I have filled the wide-leg-pants-void in my life and I’m ready to move on. These pants are so comfortable and I will continue to wear them with other tops and shoes. Are you a fan?
