Prime Wardrobe: A Couple of Winners

Remember last month when I shared my first experience with Amazon Prime Wardrobe? I tried it again and this time I came up with a couple of winners!

Just to recap: Prime Wardrobe is easy to use. You can select at least 3 items (they must be marked Prime Wardrobe) to be shipped to you free of charge. You then have 7 days to try the items on at home and decide if you will keep or return. You use the return label that came with your box and drop it off at your local UPS store. Easy peasy lemon squeezy (sorry, I work with little kids). I should also note that Prime Wardrobe is not just for clothing; you can select shoes and accessories as well!

Let’s start with the winners, shall we? First up, you have seen this tie neck blouse on me. I am having a major moment with all the ties! This blouse feels like silk but it’s not. It drapes so elegantly and is such a classic piece to add to my wardrobe. The price is fantastic. Definitely a keeper! It’s from the brand Lark & Ro and for reference I am wearing it in a size 6.
#Tie Neck BlouseThe pants I am wearing were part of my box too. I liked them well enough but they were a little long and the fabric seemed to attract lint. I knew I was receiving this pair from Slimsation so I returned these. I ordered a size 6 in them for reference.

Another winner for me also from the Lark & Ro line is this twist v-neck blouse. I am wearing it in a size medium. It was $20 and will be a great piece to wear with shorts, pants, skirts, and under jackets and cardigans. I like it because I can wear a regular bra with it!
#Black V-Neck BlouseIf you are large chested like me this would be a great top for you. It drapes nicely and also conceals my tummy! Worn with black pants it almost looks like a jumpsuit.#Black V-Neck with Black PantsFor some reason I have been craving business attire. It’s an area of my wardrobe that is lacking and although I work from home there are times I would like to dress more professionally. I like separates that can be worn with other items. This tweed jacket caught my eye. I’d wear it with dress pants or a skirt for a meeting or other event and then with denim for a casual look. I ordered it in a small – big mistake!#Tweed JacketThe next item almost took up permanent residence in my closet. I love the color and the style. Take a look at this Calvin Klein dress. I am wearing it in a size 6. #Calvin Klein DressHere is a view from the back. I would consider wearing shape wear to give a smoother look but honestly it’s too hot for that here in FL. I ended up not keeping this dress because it was a little pricier than I was comfortable with. #Calvin Klein DressI thought I’d try some pricier denim so that’s the reasoning behind the next two items. Although I am not familiar with William Rast these crop flares caught my eye! I ordered a size 6; they fit well but were a little stretchy so I’d size down. #Crop Flare Jeans#Crop Flare JeansI have never tried the next brand but have heard others sing their praises! This was my first foray with NYDJ. My opinion, was meh. Okay but not to die for. I am wearing a size 6 in these skinny jeans. #NYDJ#NYDJ
So I did have some success this time. I kept the tie neck blouse and the twist front v-neck blouse. If you haven’t yet shopped Prime Wardrobe I’d say give it a try. It takes some time but it’s a fun and easy way to try new trends as well as some classic pieces!
One more thing before you go – just in case you are still wondering what to wear for St. Patrick’s Day, I got this graphic tee and these earrings in green! I have to thank my friend Andrea for pointing me in the right direction on these items – I love them!
Thanks for stopping by today, I appreciate it! Make today marvelous friends!
