Might be hard to believe that we are less than one week out from Thanksgiving here in the US but friends, it’s true!
Favorites
Last week I attended a work conference and I thought it might be nice to see what I wore. These outfits were favorites because although I didn’t want to be at the conference at least I was dressed comfortably! Just to put things in perspective, I work for a VERY large virtual school and there were 4,000 of us in attendance. That’s not our entire staff by the way. Since the conference had to be rescheduled because of hurricane Helene some were unable to attend. I’ll say this, our professional development team does an amazing job putting this conference together. My personal issue with it is that the seminars aren’t helpful in my role. At all. I like seeing my co-workers but three days of this is too much.
The first day we had to be there by 11 but days 2 & 3 it started at 8:30am which meant we left the house by 7. I was all smiles in the first photo but trust me, by day 3 I was TIRED!
My cashmere sweater from Quince was amazing and I definitely want to add more to my closet. I layered it with a Half Tee and I wasn’t too hot nor too cold. Perfection! On day two I wore my Clara Sunwoo liquid leather jacket over my black blouse and pants from JCrew Factory. Both days my sneakers really saved me. We walked well over 10,000 steps both of those days. By Friday I was ready to wear a soft sweater and my favorite denim. I wore these shoes and they were great for the last day (they are on sale right now too!).
Favorites in Entertainment
Last weekend we saw The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. It was so good and such a nice way to get into the holiday spirit! That can be difficult here since it is still so hot – we need all the help we can get!

Two of the library books I ordered arrived last week! I finished one already and am working on the other one. So far, so good!
