Affordable Spring Dresses

Welcome to yet another edition of Thursday Fashion Files! It’s dress season in my humble and hot opinion. Frankly when the temps start rising the best way to stay cool is to wear a dress. Today I’ve got two affordable spring dresses you can wear just about anywhere you go!

Both of these dresses are from Grace Karin, a brand sold on Amazon. This happens to be one of the brands I really enjoy! The quality is good and the styles are a mix of classic and edgy! Both of these dresses were part of a collaboration I did with them. Since it’s the week of the Amazon Spring Sale and they are both marked down, this was the perfect time to share them with you!

Striped Bodycon Dress

At almost 57 I am way beyond body con dresses. Or so I thought! I think the strategically placed stripes, side ruching, and polo v-neck make this one so flattering!

It’s sporty enough that you could wear a sneaker with it but I love it with my go to low heels. It comes in 9 colorways and sizes S – XXL. Right now it’s on major sale and is less than $20. I am wearing a small in the dress but think I would prefer a medium.

Zipper Front Flowy Dress

Grace Karin calls this one a zipper front flowy dress. This silhouette is one that is available at many price points and I’d say it’s quite trendy. It does seem to create that hour glass figure – even on someone with not much of a waist like me. Compare it to this one and you’ll see that this one looks very similar at a fraction of the price!

It’s got pockets and the zipper zips all the way up and down! I comes in 10 colorways and sizes S- XXL. Again, I am wearing a small but almost wish I had a medium.

Where to Wear Them

Either of these dresses will work in just about any situation. I think they’d be great for work – I know I could have easily worn them as a school counselor. But I think they’re fantastic enough to be worn for dressier occasions as well. It’s all about the accessories in my book!
