Styles I Am Wearing Again This Spring

Happy first day of Spring! I am so happy you are here. This week’s Fashion Files will be a little bit of a departure from the norm. I’ve decided to look back and see what styles I am wearing again this spring. It’s a way to highlight some of my best purchases and identify my wardrobe workhorses. Maybe this will encourage you to do the same?

Styles I Am Wearing Again This Spring

Some things are just tried and true each season. The further I dig down deep to explore and define my personal style, the less I need. Frankly, this has been one of the blessings of aging for me – I have a desire to own less and rid myself of clutter. I think better that way. In fact, on April 8 I am having a closet system installed! This has led me to purge, purge, purge and I quite like it.

You might be surprised to see what I am not featuring today, namely shorts. I am wearing them for sure! But I’m trying to share the most worn items in my wardrobe. Many of the shorts I wore previously have been purged, some were just too long or I didn’t really care for them.

Dresses I Wore Before

The hotter it gets the more I reach for easy, breezy dresses. There are several I am looking forward to wearing again. Not a one of them is expensive but the quality has been great and they’ve washed well. When I rounded these up I was shocked to see that the majority are from Amazon!

This one is from Spring, 2023. I have to stop myself from buying it in other colors because I honestly don’t need it. Yet every time I put it on, I immediately want more.

This dress falls into the very same category. Although I am very tempted to buy the green and pink version. I adore this dress.

Yet another dress that I could easily own in multiple colors! The linen is so fantastic and this always looks so chic. This is the dress I’ll grab when I have no idea what to wear because it always works.

I feel like a princess in this dress (this year’s version)! Maybe it’s the puff sleeve?? No idea but I love it as soon as I slip it on. I am debating between this one and the last one to wear to my son’s graduation in May.

This dress is such a good dupe for more expensive versions. The quality is exceptional and it always looks good. While I think the rest of the dresses are more every day wearable, this one is the kind I’d wear for any special occasion.

Bottoms I Love for Spring

If you have a good selection of bottoms then it’s easy to update your spring style with a new top or layering piece. I swear by my linen joggers, ecru denim, white trouser style denim, and my palazzo pants from Clara Sun Woo. I’ll also be wearing wide leg denim – most likely the ones I bought at Chico’s this year. I find the wide leg to be so much more comfortable and cool in the heat.

These pants from Clara Sun Woo are definitely a favorite, I am wearing an XS. You can grab a pair here and use my code KELLYANN10.

These Tops Top My Spring List

I’m really into long vests this year. They combine my love of blazers and need to stay cool into one fabulous and stylish piece! These two are from Amazon and I love them equally.

Spring Shoes

If you don’t suffer from any type of foot pain then thank your lucky stars! Then grab yourself a pair of well made shoes so you don’t get foot pain. Seriously the best way to treat pesky foot pain like PF is to wear supportive shoes. Even your flip flops make a difference. I swear by Vionics but I also like Aerosoles too. These are the shoes I wear on the daily. I can walk long distances and never suffer. When I dress up I’ll often wear these by Shutz. They are three years old and still comfortable. These are a few of my tried and true favorite shoes for mature feet!
