There is something about September that I have always loved. The month itself is a favorite, maybe because my mom’s birthday is this month or maybe because it’s the start of all the fun fall events. This year it is going to be a busy one for me, I have a trip to Charleston, SC followed by the annual convention for my job. I am so not looking forward to the convention! Anyway, let’s get to the business at hand, this week’s Friday Favorites!
Friday Favorites – Hey there, September!
I am VERY excited about my first favorite – these minimizer bras! Here’s why I am excited – the quality is amazing and the price is so darn good! I usually make my way to my nearby Dillard’s a few times a year and get fitted. I end up leaving with at least one bra and pay about $75. My favorite style is a minimizer bra because I prefer a more streamlined look. No push ups for me, please!
These from Hsia are just as good as my Wacoal bras and a fraction of the price. I ordered by typical size and they fit perfectly. These were gifted to me by the brand, I did some work for them on Instagram. I will order these myself though because they are worth it. It’s hard to find a pretty bra that is supportive and comfortable but for me, these are IT!
This lace minimizer bra is my favorite because it is just so pretty! It comes in 16 colorways and sizes 32C to 48DDD. As much as I love the lace, sometimes a smooth cup is needed. In that case, this one can do no wrong. It lifts and separates and is made with a cooling technology. Come in loads of colorways and again, the same great size range.
I have my eye on this Mahjong set on Amazon. Isn’t it pretty? I am joining an ongoing group (made up of alumnae from my sorority) to play once a month. I am scared to death because it’s such a confusing game for me but I am also excited and ready for the challenge!
I have so many bottles of nail polish but over the last year or so I have only purchased Expressie. The one color I have bought a few times is Unapologetic Icon. I love clean, white nails. This formula dries so quickly – no top coat needed. Definitely a favorite!
I am giving this new lip product a try, the color is Breakfast in Bed. I am wearing this lip plumper over it. The plumper has a bit of a burning sensation (there is a pepper on the front so you can’t say you weren’t warned!). I really like it!
Amy has been sharing Halaras for months now and I keep thinking about getting a pair. I go back and forth on whether to purchase or not. She shared this pair yesterday. You know how I was crushing on this pair of track pants? Do you think these might fit the bill? I’m on the fence. I love the price of the Halaras of course but I’ve heard they can have a strange smell. I’m also confused about what size and length.
This weekend I am hoping to go to the movies tonight and then tomorrow is football. Sunday? Church and getting the blog ready for the week as well as the week I’ll be gone. Do you have plans? I hope your weekend is a good one no matter what!
