Hello, Friday and hey November! I am happy to see both quite honestly. November is always such a good month as we ready ourselves for the holidays and the excitement is palpable. I say all of this despite a lot of sadness that also comes with this month. Six years ago this month we lost my niece and I think of her every single day. There’s also the government shut down and of course the UPS cargo plane crash. With so much sadness we have to focus on the joy wherever we can find it.
Favorites from the Week
We had a very chill Halloween night. My husband and I were home alone so we sat outside on our back porch and played Mexican train dominoes and had a cocktail. Of course we listened to 80’s music because we are stuck in that decade musically – ha! It was very enjoyable! Our younger son and his girlfriend went to a party and of course I had to snap a photo!

On Tuesday night I went to my monthly Mah Jong meet up with my sorority. I still have a long way to go with this game although I did win a round. It is something I look forward to and I would really like to get a set of tiles of my own. Of course then I’d need to find some people to play with who know what they’re doing; I do not feel at all comfortable explaining it to anyone yet. Do you play? I found some affordable options to get set up with and I am seriously considering them.

I was gifted a pair of booties by Easy Spirit that are so handy! Pun intended I suppose because what’s really cool about them is that they slip on easily. Hands free! They keep my feet toasty warm, have arch support, and have a flexible sole. They come in different widths too!

Those booties are going to come in handy because we are headed to Maine this weekend. Well, we think we are anyway. I am praying our flight is not cancelled and that we actually get to go. We are visiting our son and his girlfriend in Portland. I’ve used ChatGpt to plan where to eat and what to see. I am looking forward to the cooler weather and of course seeing my favorite people!

I placed a big Walmart order last weekend. You can watch the unboxing of most of it here. Not to sound pushy BUT Walmart does sell out quickly and some of these things are so good, like this coat. Grab what you like now.

My Instagram community really liked this outfit, especially the wide leg denim. Mine are from Evereve and they are premium denim with a price to match. These are a great alternative from Amazon. They’re more affordable so if you’re thinking of trying a pair take a look! Also? That’s a new wig I’m wearing! I love it!

Thanks so much for stopping by today, I appreciate you being here. Please consider signing up to receive my posts by email and following me on Instagram and Pinterest.
