Here’s hoping this Friday finds you filled with all the joy the season has to offer! We’re in the final stretch of the Christmas season and I hope you are enjoying it and taking it all in rather than feeling stressed. Today is all about what sparked joy for me in the last week, let’s get started!
This just cracks me up! Otter is my son and his precious girlfriend’s cat. He always ends up in the funniest places and situations.

I am celebrating a week of social engagements and the fact that I ACTUALLY made it to all of them! I even made it two things in one day – seriously, who am I? That’s right, I am turning over a new leaf and allowing myself to miss a morning walk or workout during this season. That was something I never did before but I am prioritizing time with people I care about. That’s not to say I am taking a break from working out but I am allowing myself a break so I can fully enjoy the season.
And, just so you know, I actually DO WEAR in real life what I share here and on social media. I bought a graphic tee at Walmart last week and had some fun styling it for a luncheon with my women’s group from church and then out that night with my husband and son.

Seriously, how fun is this wig??? My husband really likes it. He NEVER says a word about what I look like but in the 2 weeks I’ve had this wig he has mentioned that he likes it. EARTH SHATTERING.

I wore my fancy pants to my sorority’s alumnae Christmas party. I didn’t love the black boots but nothing else really worked.

My husband and I visited a Christmas pop up bar last Saturday. We had gone last year and I enjoyed it so much we went back. We waited an hour for a table but it was worth it. They do such a nice job decorating every square inch and it feels so festive. The other patrons were dressed in fun holiday attire and the mood is just so light and fun!

This brought some major joy – who doesn’t love a good look for less? When Jill and I were shopping in Anthropologie last week we saw this sweater dress styled so cutely. I have the much more affordable option and borrowed a shirt from my husband. I think it turned out great!

You know I have issues with my feet that make wearing any old shoe a distant memory. That doesn’t mean that I won’t still take some chances – and when they work out it feels like a major win. I ordered these chunky heels and they did not disappoint! They look so much like Gucci but of course they are not. They feel like leather and the cushioned footbed is amazing. I like the block heel too.

That wraps up this week’s post. I could go on and on right now about so many things but I’ll spare you all of that and honor your time. I am off of work until January 5th and I am planning to savor that time. I may have a post next Friday, right now I am focusing on my Instagram and my LTK, if you aren’t following me there I hope you will! I am pretty active on stories and it’s a great way to connect!
