Just 12 days until Christmas! It’s getting real friends! I hope you’re ready – I feel like I am although there are a few things I still need to get. I also need to wrap presents but I am honestly not at all concerned about getting things done because I will. You will too so don’t allow pressure or stress from the holidays to steal your joy!
Without further adieu, let’s get to this week’s Friday Favorites! There is no real theme here, just a hodgepodge of things worth mentioning.
Friday Favorites December 13
Last Saturday night we had tickets to the Titusville Playhouse (about 45 minutes away) to see What A Wonderful World. Our best friends came with us and we had dinner before hand at the cutest little place, The Cafe Paradiso. It was so much fun and we are excited to go back! It was my first time at that theater and the restaurant and we all agreed they were great! The restaurant had a cool vibe and was very much inspired by New Orleans.
I wore this red velvet suit (I got it last year from Cabi). NYDJ has a very similar suit so I am linking it. I bought a new pair of kitten heel black boots and wore those. They were comfortable and I felt festive – my husband called it my Santa suit – I was not amused and I hope he enjoys his time on the naughty list. Ha!
These are the boots I bought – I guess I should call them booties. Anyway, they are comfortable and the heel height is perfect!
I wore the red velvet pants again with a sequin top to a holiday party this week. It was so festive! My favorite shoes this season have to be these from Target. I have them in red and in black and they are always comfortable and stylish! So. Good. Who knew????
Another favorite of mine this week has been all the sales popping up left and right! They have been so good. On Wednesday I bought this sweatshirt from Anthropologie. It was originally $78 but now just $29! I really love a great quality sweatshirt, makes all the difference in an elevated casual look.

Clara Sunwoo pieces do not wrinkle either. So everything travels well and wears well. I wore this outfit on Monday night to Bingo! Do yourself a favor and grab a liquid leather jacket – they do not disappoint! My pants are here and my jacket is here.
Another liquid leather jacket I have is this one. I threw it on over my sequin top and velvet trousers the other night. It is the perfect completer piece!
A favorite deal I scored this week was this T3 Flat Iron. It is just $49 a savings of almost $200! Crazy! What a great gift this would make. I can hardly wait for it to arrive!
