Corduroy Barrel Jeans for Fall

Considering I had a great distaste for any kind of barrel leg anything, I am chuckling as I type today’s post. Boy have I learned to never say never! Is it me or is it the industry? I feel like the exaggerated barrel leg has been replaced with something more subtle. Today I bring you corduroy barrel jeans for fall in two colors and the best part? They’re on sale!

These weren’t even on my radar but once I saw them I was curious. With Target Circle Week going on it was a great time to grab these and try them out. These are high waisted but not so high that they’re uncomfortable. As someone with a rectangular body shape I sometimes struggle with high rise. Without a defined waist, they tend to feel uncomfortably tight. I’m happy to report that was not the case with these.

I ordered them in two colors, burgundy and tan. They come in a 3rd color as well – cream. I ordered my typical size 4 so I’d say they run TTS. The top I am wearing is a short sleeve cardigan also from Target. This is a great one if you live in a warmer climate like I do.

You’ll notice that they are a shorter length. I really like that but I also know that for some, it may cause concern over what shoe to wear and also what to do once the weather cools off. A boot works just fine! Also? I am wearing a new hair topper in the photo below and a wig in the photos above. Let’s blame it on my Gemini birth sign but I like changing my hair!

The verdict? I am loving these corduroy barrel jeans for fall! I also love the burgundy shoes I am wearing with the burgundy pair. They are comfortable! I sized up a half size due to the pointed toe and my Fred Flinstone feet. When I was at Target last week I tried on several of their shoes and I was impressed!

While I don’t have real fall weather here just yet, a cool front is coming through and it will be in the high 60s in the mornings this weekend! That has me GIDDY!
