Maybe it’s because it’s my birth month but I love June. Even during the craziness that 2020 has brought, I like June. I’m sorry to see it go actually. This may in part be due to the fact that all of my birthday rewards are getting ready to expire, lol, I have to shop quick! So in honor of that, today’s Friday Favorites are all about my favorite birthday rewards and a purchases this week.
This week I took a day off from work on Wednesday. It was a much needed mental health break and I chose to spend it shopping with one of my best friends, Windy. We have a birthday tradition of visiting Kendra Scott together. Usually I have no idea what I’ll get but this year I knew EXACTLY what I wanted. My sights were set on this necklace. I love it! Just in case you don’t know – during your birth month you can pick a piece of jewelry for half off – in store only.
Part of the fun, and definitely my favorite, is spending time with Windy shopping. We have fun together and we’ve been best friends for almost 24 years! When it’s her birthday I treat her to a Kendra Scott piece and when it’s my birthday she treats me. It’s such a great way to celebrate.
We visited Athleta. Let me say I really like their pieces but they are waaaaay overpriced in my opinion. I only shop the sale rack. I found a top I loved so I bought it in 2 colors(light pink and black). It’s so soft and I love the fit. Also? This top can be worn two ways, take a look. It was regularly $64 and on sale for $23. Another favorite, Anthropologie. Again, too rich for my blood but I do love a good sale. I love their clothing so I stalk my favorite pieces like it is my J-O-B. This top was one I purchased online (it still has not arrived) thinking it was as low as it would go but I was wrong. I found it in store for an extra 30% off making this normally $128 blouse only $28 (the price is less in store than online).
Of course I had to stop by Loft too because clearly I cannot get enough. Everything in the store was 40% off but the clearance section had all tops for $8 and all shorts for $12. With a $5 reward I had, I bought a pair of shorts (in the photos) and two tops for $22! Score! See why I love June? Birthday month = rewards!
American Eagle sent me a 20% discount in honor of my birthday. I used it to buy this sweatshirt. I chose to have it shipped to the store to save the shipping cost. Honestly I have no need for a sweatshirt anytime soon but I can put it away for when I do!
My final favorite is our 2nd Annual Red, White, Blue and You link up on Monday. I can hardly wait to see all the patriotic goodness that gets shared!
