This is the Friday Favorites that almost wasn’t. No reason in particular, just couldn’t quite find the words. Some days, weeks, and even months are like that. When that kind of “funk” strikes me, I just push through. I employ the strategy of “acting as if” to get over rough times.

Favorite #1 Vanishing Edge Panties on Sale!
Soma is having a sale right now on my favorite panties. I have recently converted from my being a conossieur of these to now loving these. The reason? Well, I like the edge on the Soma panties better. They have a little grip that helps them stay in place. Plus when they have sale like this you can really stock up.
Panty Event – 7/15 – 7/19
· 5/$35 Vanishing Edge panties (excludes $24+)
Back to Bras Sale – 7/23 – 7/26
· $25 + $35 Select Wireless, T-Shirt + Bralettes!

Favorite #2 Mascara
This is not sponsored, nor gifted. I honestly love this mascara because it doesn’t budge (ha! just like the panties). It is designed for women over 50 and I have found that it works well for volume and length but it doesn’t smudge, smear or flake. It may seem pricey at $27 a tube but I won’t go back to the other brands I used to use – this is the only one that works for me.

Favorite #3 Manifest
Looking for a new series to watch? Seasons 1 & 2 are on Netflix and season 3 is on Hulu but we love Manifest. There’s no nudity, bad language, and it’s not scary. I liked season 1 the best but overall my husband and I are enjoying it!

Favorite #4 Audio Books
I have friends who ask how i can afford to spend so much money on clothes. Honestly, it’s all relative. These same friends do things I don’t – nails, botox, expensive hair processes, coffee, etc. The truth is I love saving money whenever and wherever I can. I have not purchased a book (other than a bible study or devotional) in close to 3 years. I get all of my reading from my library or the from the monthly free books Amazon Prime offers.
I was thrilled to get to listen to to 2 audiobooks from my library in the last 2 weeks. I prefer listening to a book rather than music while I’m walking or cleaning the house. These two were awesome!
Favorite #5 – Outfits this week!
Admittedly, this is not a favorite. The week started off rough as I was unable to wear normal clothes because of the burn on my chest. Not being able to wear a bra was tough. But things got better and so did my mood!
Here’s what I wore on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday:

I hope you have a wonderful weekend to look forward to – we have no plans yet but I’m looking forward to seeing what the days bring. Thank you so very much for stopping by today!
