Friday Favorites April 11

Time to celebrate my favorite day of the week! In some respects I feel like this week flew by – probably because I had plans two nights and that is not the norm for me! Anyway, I am pleased to share with you some things that brought me joy this week!

Friday Favorites, April 11

As we prepare for our younger son to graduate from UF with his Master’s degree in Architecture we have a lot to look forward to. Last weekend we went to Gainesville (2 hours from where we live) to celebrate his 25th birthday and get some graduation pictures. We brought my mom with us and my niece joined us too – she is a sophomore at UF. Little did I know 6 weeks ago when I booked our dinner reservation that the Gators would be playing in the Final Four that night!

We felt extremely lucky to be in the heart of the excitement and even better – we won! Then we won again on Monday night so yes, the Gators are the National Champs!

Around the Home

A few things from around the home made it to my favorites list! I picked up a new candle at Walmart and I love it! It’s burning as I type this and it just smells divine. It’s not overpowering and it’s attractive too. Might make a great gift!

I had a closet system installed in my closet this week! I have not yet finished loading everything back into it yet. I’m taking my time so I can get it organized in a way that makes sense to me. I’m also purging as I go! More to come on this, I promise!

Make Up and Jewelry

The Sephora Sale is officially open to everyone! Most of what I wear these days is drugstore make up but I still placed a small order. I ordered this setting spray and this dry shampoo. I’ve never used either one but I’ve heard good things about both. I’ll report back.

Easter Outfit Idea

We will be in St. Augustine for Easter weekend this year. It will be strange not to attend my church’s Good Friday service, I always love it! But our older son is in a wedding that weekend and we will get to see him! This beautiful suit would be perfect for Easter! I am planning on bringing it on our trip.

That’s a wrap on this week’s favorites. Tonight we have dinner plans with friends and I am looking forward to it. The rest of the weekend will be spent working on my closet and my blog. I am hoping your weekend is filled with good vibes and loads of JOY!
