Hello and happy Friday, friends! This week my husband and I celebrated 31 years of marriage. It’s hard to believe honestly but here we are. Luckily my husband made a dinner reservation a few weeks ago because if it was up to me, we would have stayed home. I was exhausted but managed to rally and we had a great time!
I wore my Clara Sunwoo jumpsuit and brought a liquid leather jacket to drape over my shoulders if I got cold. It was a wonderful night!
Another favorite from the week was getting to visit with my friend Lauren. She lives in Louisiana but was visiting her parents in The Villages. That’s about an hour away so I drove to meet her there. We had lunch and just talked and talked – it felt so good! I had taken the day off, I had a dental cleaning appointment that morning.
One of my very favorite things to do is laugh! This post by my friend Amy had me in stitches. You need to read it!!!
Two of my nephews now live in Nashville – one is doing a post-doc at Vanderbilt and the other works at WKRN (a TV station). My TV station nephew – who generally works as a producer and reporter but his love is sports reporting. This week he had a spot on the news as a guest host!This is a screenshot of the show – this had me so very happy! I love my nieces and nephews to pieces and knowing how excited he was just brought me all kinds of joy!
I do have a beauty favorite to share! I have a new lip combo I love! The lipliner is Totally Toffee by Maybelline, the lipstick is Real Rosy by Laura Gellar (just re-ordered this), and the gloss is Blush Blaze.
My new library book arrived! I get so excited when I see a blue package at the door!
One last favorite, new sneakers in a neutral tone. These are a low profile sneaker that will work with so many things! I believe they will work year round for me. They are on sale right now so grab these if you are in the market for a great, comfortable fashion sneaker!
