Friday Favorites #10

Happiest Friday friends! As I’m looking at the date it has dawned on me that next week is St. Patrick’s Day! Holy cow, that came so quickly. As cliche as it may sound, yes, time is flying by at warped speed. Next week I’ll be sure to include some St. Patrick’s Day outfit ideas! In case you didn’t know it, my maiden name is O’Donnell so I’m all kinds of Irish (with an Italian mother)!

Let’s get down to business this week with some favorites worth sharing.

Favorite #1: ICYMI on Tuesday I joined my gal pals for the Ageless Style Link Up where our theme was “It’s All in the Details”. I shared three looks and one included my new loafer mules. I have to tell you they are fabulous! I ordered them online and when they arrived I was doubtful they’d be comfortable enough for my finicky feet. However, I was surprised at just how comfortable they are and they are gorgeous! I wore them out with black joggers last weekend for dinner and then again with jeans later in the week. I’ve been to two Target stores and haven’t found them so snatch these up online. Remember shipping is free with your RedCard and upi save 5%! They run TTS.

Favorite #2: Another recent purchase, my OTS pink sweater is absolutely a favorite. I have worn it twice this week because luckily the temperature dropped just a bit!

I wore it on Sunday to the movies and paired it with another favorite this handbag that appears to be sold out. Fingers crossed it gets re-stocked!

Favorite #3: My husband’s birthday is in February and I always struggle with what to get the man! Unlike me, who can whip out a wish list like it’s my J-O-B, he has a hard time coming up with anything. One thing he loves to do is buy and sell on Ebay which has become more than a hobby for him but more of a part time job. I ended up giving him a $50.00 PayPal giftcard from my Ibotta account. Not familiar with Ibotta? It’s an easy to use rebate program. I’ve had my account for less than 2 years and I have earned over $300.00. What makes this a favorite for me is being able to give my husband that did not come from our bank account. See we share an account and you know how it is when you or your spouse buys a present – it’s really your shared money buying the gift. My Ibotta money is like my mad money. The funds you accumulate add up and you can cash out with a gift card. Last year I bought my DSLR camera with gift cards from Target I purchased with my Ibotta earnings. Check it out!

Favorite #4: Oh heavens, I love my new job. The quality of my life is much improved. I thought you might enjoy a glimpse of what I actually do! I snapped a shot of the character education piece I did on our morning announcements last week. Many days this is my office view!

Favorite #5: I absolutely love the brand Mud Pie. Strangely enough I have found myself in TJMaxx each week for the last month. That place is addicting! Anyhow, I found the cutest little butter dish for $3.99 and it reminds me so much of the Mud Pie collection I love but at a fraction of the cost! A great deal is always my favorite.

This weekend is my sweet niece’s 2nd birthday and I’ll be whipping out my cowboy boots for her petting zoo party. I’ll be sure to snap some photos because I’m pairing them with my tulle skirt! I hope you have something fun planned! If you haven’t already done so, please sign up to follow me by email so you’ll never miss a post!

Thanks for stopping by and I’ll see you back here on Monday!
