The first Thursday of the month means it’s time for me to come clean about what I invited into my closet recently! I honestly thought I would not have much to share this month, but as per usual that changed. Darn you Loft! It seems the minute I say I’m not finding anything that great at Loft they change things up and I end up eating my words. Lesson learned, I am not saying that anymore!
June Closet Additions
I only bought clothing from two stores in June: Loft and Target. Let’s start with Loft first because once I started I could not stop! Their 50% off sale coupled with my birthday reward mean I barely spent anything on what I bought!
Loft Purchases
My favorite Loft purchase from June is this two piece set. Yes, the pieces are sold separately and yes, they are Loft’s Lou & Grey answer to Spanx Air Essentials. I cannot even describe how good they feel when you slip them on. It’s like a weird cooling effect happens. I tried them on in black but knew I wanted the cream color.
Since I own them in burgundy I know how good these Lou & Grey joggers are. I was thrilled they brought them back and in navy!
This striped tee is another Lou & Grey piece and it feels so luxe! This is no basic tee – trust me.
The surprise piece for me was this bubble skirt. I bought it in navy but also tried it in white. It is comfortable and cute – a great alternative to shorts.
Finally, one of the sales associates was wearing this top with this skirt. It was sold out in my size but the other Loft near me had it and I could not pass it up. It looks great with the bubble skirt and the shorts from Lou & Grey!
Target Purchase
I bought this red vest and shorts after seeing one of my friends on IG try them. I really liked the red vest and kept it. I returned the shorts – even though I liked them I knew I most likely wouldn’t wear them often enough.
Gifted Items
June was a month of a couple of good collaborations. I received items from Amazon, Charlie B, and JJill.
An Amazon seller offered to send me this tank and this two piece set. I love the tank! I want to order it in another color but I cannot decide which one. It’s been seen on so many content creators because it looks like Anthro but it’s Amazon. Definitely worth it!
The pink 2 piece set is fine. Nothing special but I do like the light pink color. I’ll wear it for lounging for sure!

I will never apologize for buying things with my money that I love. Sharing my closet additions in this space has helped me to learn more about my style and shopping behaviors. In some ways it seems like it’s part of maturing for me and I am grateful for the lessons I’ve learned, I no longer feel overwhelmed with my closet or clothes.
