I am a bona fide blog reader and fashion copy cat, I admit it! More than anything I love wearing cute clothes that are comfortable and stylish. My goal is to always appear put together so I am constantly on the hunt for way to accomplish that task. My guess is you are too.

The funny thing is that years ago when I first started reading blogs I found outfits I loved and then began purchasing all the pieces to recreate the look. Now, several years later my approach has changed. I now own the pieces and look for ways to style them in new ways. Such was the case with today’s inspired by outfit.
I bought the pants back in the spring from Old Navy and have worn them a few times. I feel like this style – cropped, wide leg – looks best with a fitted top. Wearing a fitted top that is sleeveless is not always my favorite thing – especially when a belt is involved but I really liked how this turned out. I wore this yesterday to the movies. In all honesty I have to say that I grabbed a kimono to throw on in case the theater was cold. But I never did get a picture.

Here’s Megan from Honey We’re Home in the outfit that inspired me! Or better yet made me realize I owned all of those pieces and why not put them together!
Of course I made a few modifications. I chose my new black belt over a leopard print one and I am wearing wedges since it’s still summer. But I can absolutely wear this when the weather changes by pulling out my open toed booties and throwing on a jacket.Pants||Tank||Belt||Similar Shoes
