Friday Favorites November 5

It’s that time again, welcome to Friday Favorites, November 5! This week’s favorites include clothing finds from Walmart an amazing accessory, and a quick peek at Halloween.

Favorite #1 Walmart Find

My first favorite is this raglan sleeve sweater from Walmart. I just adore it, the fit, the fabric – it’s so chic! Not only is it just $20 but it comes in 6 colorways. I think it’s the perfect top for skirts, pants, and denim. Isn’t it cute with this denim and my cap toe sling backs? Honestly I should name these shoes a favorite because I have been wearing them non-stop, well at least one a week! I got mine on Poshmark but you can find a similar pair here and Express has a flat version. They literally go with everything and add a little elegance!

Favorite #2 Another Walmart Find

On Wednesday I shared my new knit skirt. It’s just so fabulous and i cannot believe the price. It’s from the Scoop line – which I have previously stated I did not care for. I’ve been proven wrong (again). Not only is this skirt well made but the price is very affordable.

Favorite #3 My Favorite Jacket

My favorite jacket is now in my closet in two colors. It’s been a top seller for me – thank goodness you all are loving it too. I check almost daily to see if there are re-stocks in my size in other colorways. I just adore the fabric – it is so well made – and the fit. It’s honestly just so versatile and instantly adds some elegance to any outfit. I’ve worn it with joggers and sneakers as well as dressed up.

Here’s how I wore the off white jacket on Saturday night out to dinner:

Favorite #4 New Accessory

With holiday gift giving on everyone’s mind, I wanted to share a small business that I was recently introduced to that I think would make an awesome gift. Made in the Deep South makes the most extraordinary jewelry by customizing vintage pieces and repurposing them into the most eye catching accessories. I purchased my first piece, a necklace, and it arrived on Monday. It’s amazing and I can hardly wait to buy another piece. If you know someone who loves jewelry, check out Made in the Deep South!

Favorite #5 Halloween

I’m not one to dress up for Halloween but last Sunday I got a wild idea to dress up. I wore the veil from my wedding and since I didn’t have any actual Halloween make up I used grey eyeshadow and my black eyeliner. It was a lot of fun because we go to our friends’ home and they go all out decorating. The hardest part for me was not to smile – since I was trying to be scary!

I wish for each and every one of you a terrific weekend- the kind that nourishes your soul and has you ready to exclaim, “my cup runneth over!” We are heading to Gainesville for a volleyball tournament on Saturday and it is going to be cold when we wake up on Sunday! I can hardly wait!
