Another weekend on the horizon and I am looking forward to it! In just a little more than a week we are headed to Nashville to visit our son and as a bonus I get to see Lisa! This all came together so well, our younger son has that week off from his summer courses and it just so happened to be the same time that Lisa would be there. So much excitement rolled into one I can hardly wait! But, as I always say, let’s not lose sight of the good in these days by focusing on the future. So without further adieu, here’s what I am loving this week!
Favorite # 1
The Target dress sale is most definitely a favorite. Honestly, 20% off is too good to pass up and there are so many cute options. Meet my latest two additions!
This dress caught my eye when I was in the store on Monday. I fell in love with the color and print. It is the perfect dress for those hot days as it is so free flowing and lightweight. I cannot find it online but this one is similar.
I shared my love for this dress on Monday so you know I had it in 3 colors. Well, the 4th color arrived yesterday (ahead of schedule) #targetiloveyou
Last weekend I celebrated my birthday with one of my besties, Windy. We have a tradition of heading to Kendra Scott on our birthdays and treating one another to our half price piece. I’ve had my eye on this necklace since it debuted and thrilled to welcome it to my collection. I wore it here.
Check out Wednesday’s post for a look at this outfit as well as a couple of other ways to style cargo pants for summer!
A few weeks ago my curling iron died. Just stopped heating up one day, such a bummer. One thing led to another and I was knee deep in YouTube videos about the Beachwaver. I scurried off to Ulta armed with a 20% off coupon and rewards points to cash in and voila! I am the proud new owner of this Beachwaver. I am crazy about it! It heats up in 30 seconds and it is so easy to use. It literally takes less than 5 minutes to do my whole head (the benefit of thin hair!).
A few house updates have been taking place over here. Last weekend I painted my living room coffee table and end tables. This week my new rug was delivered and I ordered new valances. I can hardly wait for them to arrive but in the meantime, behold the beautiful rug!
I saved the best for last with this one. My brother shared this on Facebook on Wednesday and I could not stop thinking about it. This woman has an amazing voice and an incredible story. Check it out here.
Before you go…
Soma Bra Sale – 3 for $99? Yes, please! Today through Sunday is Soma’s 3/$99 bra event. You can check out the sale here. Normally I don’t buy Soma bras – they are expensive but at $33 a bra, my interest has been piqued!
That’s a wrap for this week friends, I hope you enjoyed it. Do you have any fun plans for the weekend? Tomorrow night we are going to see a concert with friends and I am looking forward to it. I hope that whatever it is that you find yourself doing that it brings you joy. Life isn’t always easy and we often find ourselves in circumstances that aren’t typically fun or particularly happy. However, we CAN choose to find joy along the way and realize that we are much more than our troubles.
