Happy Friday friends! Are you happy that January is coming to an end? I’m looking forward to a few fun things in February, including my husband turning 60! February is not without a few sad times too – my dad’s birthday is February 6th and he would have turned 84. The 7th anniversary of his death on February 17th. Needless to say, February is a time of lots of emotions. I’ll be sure to do something that will honor my father’s memory, it’s the best way I know to get through tough times.
Last weekend was a busy one in all the best ways! My love language is quality time. More than anything I love spending time with my closest friends. Friday night we had dinner with one couple and played a really cool detective game. Saturday we had an early dinner with another couple and then went to yet another couple’s house to play games. Getting to spend time with three of my closest friends filled my tank to the brim!
Here’s what I wore!
Friday I kept this outfit on all day. I went to my ladies group at church then came home and worked and then wore it to dinner later that night. I love an outfit that works for everything!
Saturday I wore this outfit to dinner and then to play games. It was comfortable – especially the shoes. I still cannot believe how great they are. I wore my wig on Friday and my hair topper on Saturday.
On Saturday I ran a few errands including a stop at Home Goods, Ulta, TJMaxx, and Target. I bought a few of my favorite products, these are the things I purchase over and over again.
I picked up this cute linen vest at TJMaxx. It has been ages since I bought any clothing there but this was too good to pass up.
If you need a new show to watch, we finished 11.22.63 on Netflix. It was so good!
