Today I bring you the sweetest dress for late summer and fall. It’s affordable, well made and can be worn multiple ways; in other words it’s a winner! Behold the fall floral baby doll dress! A baby doll dress can be dressed up or down with a quick switch of hoes and accessories.
Look #1 – Dressed Up
My braided heels have become a fast favorite and go with everything. I kept all the accessories neutral and in my opinion this makes something called ‘baby doll’ seem a bit more sophisticated. The Tory Burch bag I purchased in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has turned out to be a great purchase.
The 3/4 sleeve is perfect when you’re carrying a piece into the next season – kind of the Goldilocks of sleeve length. I’m also loving the ditsy floral print.
Look #2 Adding the Fun Factor
Nothing says fall to me more like a fun hat and this one works so well with the baby doll dress. My boots – yet another Anniversary Sale purchase look so good with the dress. They are comfortable and I can hardly wait to wear them. They look great with pants but I love them with a skirt or dress as well.
Look #3 Add a Bit of Edge
Adding black combat boots (similar) adds a little edge to a sweet dress like this. I thought adding a necklace with black beads was a nice way to tie the look together. Honestly, I wish I had a black choker – I think that would add even more edge as would my faux leather moto jacket! But it will be months before I break that bad boy out!
This baby doll dress was so much fun to style! While I may have shown just three looks today, there are so many more possibilities as the weather changes. A knee high or even thigh high boot would add warmth when the temps drop as would a denim jacket or long cardi. Thinking of all those fun ways to style this sweet dress gets me excited for fall – how about you?
Our Last Link Up
It’s with such mixed emotions I share that this is the last Style Six link up. I have enjoyed every week of it and feel so completely and utterly surprised when I see how many of you link up each week. It has been an honor to co-host. My Style Six sisters are among the best women I know and I have been blessed by their friendship. But as things go, life changes and our group is not immune. When it came time to decide on the next year of this link up not everyone felt the need to continue. So, this is the last Style Six link up. Who knows what the future holds? Stay tuned! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support of our link up!
