A blue shorts outfit can be a great starting point for multiple outfit combinations. This two piece coordinating set from Target has been so much fun to mix and match with other pieces in my wardrobe. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve seen a few looks already but I have more for you today!
This shorts outfit is especially comfortable thanks to the pull on shorts. They do have pockets and the length is just right. The shirt is a button up and has pockets too. Worn together, they make a great combination that looks more expensive than they really are. Separate the pieces and you’ve got great wardrobe staples. P.S. forgive the wrinkles on the shirt – no excuses, I’m lazy and have been tucking and untucking!
Green Shirt & Blue Shorts
A favorite combo of mine, blue and green look so crisp and clean. This shirt is oversized so to keep it from looking sloppy, I did a front tuck. Even in the sweltering heat here in Central Florida, a cotton shirt is surprisingly cool.
Blue on Blue
If the matching top is too, well, matchy-matchy for your taste, how about pairing this puff sleeve top with the blue shorts? I actually like this better – this top doesn’t require any kind of tucking and is so slimming as it skims the body. The cotton puff sleeves are such a fun detail. A monochromatic look is so chic and effortless.
Striped, Smocked Top + Blue Shorts
You’ve seen this striped, smocked top before with white bottoms. I love it with the blue shorts! In fact this would make a great 4th of July look – I could add some red accessories. The peplum top is flattering and hits at just the right spot. By that I mean it doesn’t cut me in half and actually elongates my torso. As a short waisted, large chested lady I’ll take all the help I can get!
