And some will be going back, lol! But hey, that is why I LOVE shopping from Nordstrom, free shipping and free returns! Last week I shared some of the items I received and this week I have a few more. Of the three I am showing today I am only keeping one! And I’ll be completely honest I am a little on the fence about it too so we’ll see what happens.
First up is the cutest long cardigan from Billabong. While I don’t think I gravitate towards one style consistently I would have to say that this really is me. I love everything about it except the way it fit across the back. It was just a little snug for me (I ordered a medium) and going up in size would have made the rest too big. So it’s going back. And that was not a decision I reached easily, it hurt! When I’m wearing something from Billabong I feel a little like a middle school skater chick or surfer chick so there is definitely a part of me that says I’m too old to be wearing this but I really like it! Too bad we had to part company! So cute, yes? Wearing it with white denim and an olive green tee now but I could wear it in the fall and winter with burgundy denim, black, or darker denim and boots. Such high hopes!
Next up I am showing two items that I would not normally wear together but for the sake of pictures I did. After Diane raved about her Wit and Wisdom jeans I was curious and wanted to give them a try. I ordered the “Ab-Solution” Wit and Wisdom Skinny Jeans in black. Right now they are $44.90 and after the sale they’ll be $68.00. I found them to run true to size, I am wearing a size 4. I like the rise, no muffin top! They are also very thick and feel almost like wearing leggings. Actually they kind of feel like Spanx, they seriously hold you in tight – no jiggle! Here’s the thing – I like them a lot but they are so thick that I’m wondering if I could wear them year round. So the jury is still out on whether they stay or go (and now I am totally singing “Should I Stay or Should I Go ” by the Clash) #attentionissues #sorrynotsorry.
The top I am wearing is by Pleione. It comes in 15 colors and is on sale for $29.90, after the sale it will be $48.00. I probably picked the most unflattering color combination for my skin tone, the Blush,Black,Ruby Mirrored pattern looked way better online than on me. I think it would be very pretty on someone with a little more color than me! I ordered a size small and the fit was fine. I bought this top a few years ago in a different pattern and I like it so much! It is great either casually or dressed up.
