Currently Obsessed - Friday Favorites - This Blonde's Shopping Bag

Another workweek comes to an end and I am not sad about it one bit! Bring on the weekend! This week has been a busy one and here I sit on Thursday morning typing this post. Usually I have an idea by the time Thursday rolls around but this week my tank has been practically running on empty. Some weeks are like that but then it struck me that I could certainly share what I am currently obsessed with- so here goes!

Currently Obsessed – Friday Favorites

You know from reading yesterday’s post how much I love Evereve. Their cool girl, laid back aesthetic really speaks to me. All it takes is a little inspo from them and I find myself obsessing over how to get my hands on their clothes. It’s true that all I have to do is click add to cart and buy what I like BUT, the real fun for me is finding what I like at a better price without sacrificing style or quality.

I am currently obsessed with this look:

This is not a new obsession for me – I have been wanting to find just the right track pants for a few years now. But Evereve has now pushed my obsession into high gear because they shared multiple ways to style them. What do I love about this particular pair? The pinstripe especially! I don’t love how wide the leg is and feel the price is just a little too high considering the wide, wide leg.

I immediately set about finding alternatives because I WILL own a pair of track pants. What can I say? I am passionate. Here are the alternatives I found: this pair from Evereve and this pair from Abercrombie. I did buy a pair of track pants from Loft in the spring – they are fabulous but I’m not sure they are perfect for recreating some of the styles I saw on Evereve. See all of the inspo below? I think the details on the Evereve pants make them work especially well, but dang those super wide legs!

I mean come on!!! The pinstripe makes these look like trousers rather than track pants. If a trouser and a track pant had a baby this is what it would look like. Do you see how Evereve styles things so perfectly? The scarf, the sweater vest, this has my attention.

Maybe I just need this little jacket? How unique, right? I can wear it to all of those fancy soirees I attend (heavy on sarcasm here since I attend ZERO).

Well, we will soon see how this turns out. The goal is for me to make a good choice and not necessarily try to get the cheapest alternative. I’ve learned that sometimes I end up paying more in the long run that way. There are times it’s just better to get what you really want and when that happens your cost per wear dwindles because you actually want to wear the item!

Moving Along…

I ordered the larger version of this cooling blanket and yes, I am currently obsessed with it! What can I say except sleeping is so much better when I am not sweating. It’s magic!

Another obsession for me? These $17 camo pants. They look good with EVERYTHING and I cannot believe the price. My advice? GET THEM. Needless to say I have cut off the tag and I have worn the heck out of these pants.

My final obsession? My hair toppers. See, last year I was saving money to get a new one. I started saving again thinking this time I’d need about $1200.00 for my next piece. So, to find affordable alternatives?? WELL…I am pinching myself.

Tell me, are you currently obsessed with anything? I am so easily influenced, I honestly need to take a moment to catch my breath and think things through but I sure do enjoy a healthy obsession!
