Orange is one of those colors that sometimes gets a bad wrap. It seems like it’s often a sport’s teams color and that’s about the only time it gets worn. Honestly I’ve never been drawn to it. But every now and again I find some pieces I really like and I end up wearing orange and loving it!

I found these pants at Loft – they are just like the black pair I wore here. They come in back, orange, and olive. They are so comfortable yet look so good! They are cropped, wide leg, and pull on – no buttons or zippers and no pockets. You know what that means? A nice, smooth, fit with no bulk in the mid section.

Orange looks great with other colors – I adore turquoise with orange. I pulled out my old necklace and added some newer accessories to wear this out shopping. My birthday rewards needed to be cashed in!
I found some cute pieces at Loft and brought two tops and a dress home with me . Here are a few fitting room selfies.

The last dress came home with me along with two tops. The dark blue one I am wearing with the skirt was a hit for me so I got it in a blush color as well. Although I liked the skirt I didn’t like the fit on my body. I thought trying it with the matching top might help but that was a no go.
I still think online shopping is of course the safest way to shop right now. However, each store I have been in has had a sign up encouraging the use of face masks. The fitting rooms have only a few stalls open and the employees are constantly cleaning them. Needless to say I felt very safe!
I hope you had a good weekend, ours was very wet! Lots of rain and a few tornadoes touched down nearby, definitely not an ideal weekend but we made the best of it.
Friday night my best friend Melodie had us over for dinner. She served all of my favorites and made the most wonderful dessert! My shopping trip on Saturday included lunch out with my other best friend Windy and on Sunday I went for a walk with my best friend Angie! All in all I cannot complain, I feel eternally blessed to have friends who care so much!
Make today marvelous friends!
