Long shorts, such an oxymoron, right? But regardless, I love a long short. I wore this on Saturday for a full day of adventures. If you missed it you can read about it here. These are the absolute best long shorts in my opinion because they are so darn comfortable. There are no zippers or buttons to fool with so they slip on and off easily. Side note: this pair is on sale!

They paired well with my new tunic. Isn’t it beautiful? It’s on sale too! I swear the pictures just don’t do it justice. It’s linen and has the prettiest detailing. I’m a sucker for pink and green together too so this immediately caught my eye.

This outfit was pulled together with old and new pieces, like my necklace and bangle bracelets. Their years old but they worked so well with what I was wearing I had to include them. Besides that, I am not one to shy away from accessories!

I’ll try this tunic next with pants but let me tell you that I was so comfortable all day long that I decided this will be coming with me when we head to Nashville next week. I’ve already laundered the tunic – washed up like a dream – and the shorts.

When I’m dressing for a full day of adventures, and I am not entirely sure what exactly the day will bring, I look for something that is both comfortable and fits my style. While some days I am in the mood for all the boho there are others when all the classic or preppy styles suit me. Honestly, I enjoy this about my personality – I cannot be neatly placed in a category.
So, what is it that you reach for when you are headed out for a full day? I knew we’d be doing some shopping, lots of eating, walking, and attending a concert. I needed something that would go the distance and this outfit did the trick thanks to my long shorts!
