Two Take On A Trend

Last month one of my blogging besties, Lisa and I joined forces to show a shared piece. We had fun and hoped you enjoyed it too. Need a refresher? Go here at check it out. Well, we’re back this month styling a piece from SheIn.

Eyelet is trending for Spring and Summer so it seemed an easy pick when we both spotted this darling blouse! The best news is you can grab one yourself for under $20 and all sizes are still available! I’m wearing a medium in the blouse but could have easily worn a large as it’s a little tight across the chest. It zips up the back and is very well made. Even though it’s eyelet I did not need to wear a cami underneath. A nude bra was all it took and I was covered.

I’ll never tire of beautiful white blouses in warm weather. They go with everything and one like this is so versatile.

We took these pictures on Sunday before heading out to church. I decided to go a little dressy for church and wore it with my new blue pants (similar). Blue and white are so perfect together, crisp and clean!

I’m wearing this necklace from Accessory Concierge. I bought it last Spring and find myself reaching for it more and more as it warms up. Something about turquoise just screams Spring and Summer, maybe because it reminds us of the ocean? This necklace pairs well with all the neutrals but with bright colors as well. Hot pink and turquoise are a very pretty combination!

I picked up these espadrilles at Macy’s on Saturday. They are so comfortable! I wore them to church, out to lunch, grocery shopping, and then the movies. I know what you’re thinking but please, I beg you, don’t hate me because my life is so exciting. Anyhow, turned out these shoes were a great choice!

Now over on the West Coast, my friend Lisa is rockin’ this same top with jeans and wedges.  Take a look at my precious friend, just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.
Most definitely the best part of this blogging journey has been the incredible friendships I’ve made. Lisa has definitely become a close friend. She’s taught me a lot lately – how to send snaps on SnapChat, proper placement of eye cream (we’ll save that story for another time), and how to recall a post that’s prematurely published! She’s a lifesaver! I hope you’ll visit her here and show her some love! She’s also a Rodan & Fields Consultant so if you’re in the market for skincare she can set you straight!
I sincerely hope you enjoyed today’s post! Thank you so much for stopping by, it means the world to me!
