Oh my goodness! I am so excited, for the first time ever I am co-hosting a link up! The lovely Ada at Elegance and Mommyhood and I are co-hosting Moda Thursday!
I admire Ada’s fearless style and love of fashion. Although we’ve never met in person I can tell she has a lot of spunk and energy. Her style is unique and she doesn’t wear what every other blogger is wearing so her posts are always interesting. She is also the mom to a beautiful little 4 year old daughter and sometimes they dress alike which is precious!
Here’s a little about Ada from Ada herself:

Ada has been blogging much longer than I have so I looked to her for direction as to how we co-host her weekly link party. She mentioned finding some great things at Loft and from there this post was born. So, if you are visiting my blog for the first time I welcome you and hope you’ll stick around. Now let’s talk about some of my favorite and recent picks from Loft. Turns out we both chose trendy tops and cold shoulder dresses! Isn’t that funny, we hadn’t planned it that way but it worked out perfectly!
I love Loft for many reasons, great sales, generous cuts (hello vanity sizing), and a fun selection of pieces I can wear for more than one season. So when they announced 40% off sitewide last week with free shopping on all orders I immediately ordered a few pair of shorts and a pair of pants. The pants arrived within 2 days but the shorts took longer. I was in the market for a longer pair of white shorts so I ordered two different pair so I could compare.
When my schedule opened up and I was able to shop in store as well I scooped up a few more things. I scooped up this cold shoulder dress and this top. You might remember a few weeks ago when my husband took me shopping for Mother’s Day and I picked up these gingham cuffed shorts and this white top, and yes I am still loving both of those pieces.
The cold shoulder dress is such a pretty shade of blue and so flattering on! It’s great with heels or flat sandals and would be a terrific piece to take on a vacation.
Of course I chose my nude wedges (similar) to wear with the dress along with colorful accessories. My favorite clutch from Accessory Concierge and a necklace I bought from World Market a few years back. Have you ever shopped their jewelry? They have a lot of colorful, fun pieces that look great against a solid background like this blue dress. If you’ve been reading for awhile than you know how I feel about changing your shoes and accessories to completely change your look. School is now out but when I head back to work in August I will wear this dress with my flat sandals.
The striped bell sleeve top is lightweight and perfect with blue or white denim. I adore the sleeves and the soft fabric. I am wearing white tassel earrings along with white cropped jeans (similar) for a fresh, Summer look. I went for comfort on my feet with my newest pair of Vionics. I never thought I’d like a pair of comfort shoes this much but I do.
I always roll up or cuff these cropped white jeans because I think they look better. I should have gotten a petite and they probably would have hit at the right spot. By the way, I am wearing the top in a medium petite. I usually buy tops in size small at Loft but since this top was on clearance with an additional 50% off sizes were limited. At 5’5″ and being short waisted I can wear a medium petite and it fits about the same as a regular size small.
I’ll be heading back to Loft soon to use Loft cash I earned. I have my eye on this tunic. Have you been to Loft lately? What are your favorite pieces?
A round up of a few of my favorite Loft finds is what’s in This Blonde’s Shopping Bag today!
Fashionably,
Kellyann
