If you’re a blazer lover like me, I think you’re gonna love the tailored vest trend. Essentially the vest does the same thing as a blazer – pulls a look together. They’re easy to wear and available at all price points.
I own 2 vests – one from Banana Republic Factory and the other is by Grace Karin on Amazon. I went with neutrals in both. You can see that the black one has a pin stripe and I bought a size medium. Wearing a tailored vest is so easy! Kind of like a fitted tank top – in fact think of it that way. Basically anything you’d wear a tank top with substitute the tailored vest and you’ve got a winner. They can be layered or worn alone.
Personally I like the idea of wearing a Half Tee under my vest. Keeps me cooler and also cuts down on any bulk around the middle when I am wearing the vest buttoned. So many ways to wear a fun vest! There are so many available. If you tend to wear high waisted pants, you can grab a shorter vest. I prefer more of a mid rise pant so I like my vests to be a tad longer. There are even some vests that are quite bit longer. So many options! Is the tailored vest a trend you’d like to try?
