Even though it is currently 90 degrees in Orlando, tomorrow I’ll be in Austin and it will be sweater weather!!! That just happens to be my favorite time of year so when Target sweaters went on sale BOGO 50% off I was all over it! Since they rarely get worn my sweaters last more than a few seasons. I don’t like to spend too much and the majority of my sweaters need to be lightweight.
I dropped into Target on Sunday for a little try on session and ended up buying two! My favorite type of sweater is a long cardigan and I found two I really liked. The first has such pretty fall colors and no doubt it could be mixed and matched all sorts of ways! I tried on a medium but would have preferred a small. It also comes in plus sizes.
Up next a super cozy, soft boho style cardigan! It’s not yet online so you’ll have to check in-store for this beauty.

I noticed lots of chunky, chenille type sweaters too in pretty greens and berries! This green v-neck was nice but I wasn’t a fan of the banded waist. The color is such a pretty forest green, despite the bad picture quality.
Keeping with the forest green theme I found this eyelash sweater. It was cozy and comfy. I think it would look great dressed up or down and could even work for the holidays. I’d wear it with my faux leather leggings. I couldn’t find this one either online, pop into the store for it!
Eyelash Sweater
One thing my wardrobe is missing is neutral sweaters. I found this fabulous v-neck to be the perfect sweater for Florida! It’s also available in plus sizes.
Another thing I don’t own much of is patterned sweaters. If the colors were just a little more vibrant I would have liked this sweater more, it just didn’t work for me.
A rust sweater was on my wish list and the color of this one was just what I had in mind. It is slightly shorter and boxier than what I’ve worn in the past.
You can see from this side view it is slightly longer in the back but definitely not tunic length.

On the way to the fitting room I grabbed this plaid blazer. The colors are so pretty and it is lined – very well made. They only had a size 4 and that was just too tight for me but this was darling!
Because I was wearing shorts on Sunday I grabbed a pair of black pants for trying on the sweaters. They were pull on pants and a great, lightweight, no wrinkle fabric.
My favorite post from last week came from The Victress – her Marvelous Mrs. Maisel costume post was spot on!
