Happy Monday friends! I’m back to work today and the countdown begins for our beach vacation. We leave on Saturday for a week! I’m a planner so I’m making lists of clothing, food, and all the other essentials we’ll need. This week will be very busy for me workwise – my co-worker is off this week so it’s just me in our virtual elementary of 9,000 students!
Hoping you had a great weekend. Friday for me was spent recovering the seat cushions for my dining room chairs. I’ll share more on that in a later post but suffice it to say, it turned into an all day event and I am forever grateful to my mother for her help.
Last week I shared my white (dressier) pants so today I thought it would only be right to share my white denim. They are definitely a summer staple in my opinion and if you haven’t already found a pair you love then make it your mission. You’ll be so glad you did!
I stumbled upon the motherload of cute and affordable clothes at Walmart on Saturday. While I’ve been seeing lots of influencers share pieces from Walmart, I’m always a bit skeptical. So when I found myself roaming the aisles the other day loading up on household essentials, the Time and Tru section of women’s clothing caught my eye. I am so impressed with the quality of the pieces! Today I bring you three tops, more to come at a later date!
This magenta top has a square neck (perfect for my monogram necklace) and perfect sleeves that flutter ever so slightly. It comes in several other colors, including a really pretty olive. I am wearing it in a small and it could easily be knotted on the side – I did a half tuck.
I am absolutely loving this tank! It is a relaxed fit and is a mineral washed black that gives it a sort of vintage feel. I sized up and am wearing a medium, I knotted it as well. This tank is a quality piece that looks much more expensive (it is $6.98). I was unable to locate it online so you’ll have to check in-store. I did find this one – very similar!
This macrame top (hello, it’s $12!) caught my eye. It is beautifully made and is available in other colors. I thought the blush was so pretty. This top would be so pretty with a kimono for even more of a boho vibe!
See that arm party I have going on? I doubled up my boho cuffs – why not? My jelly bracelets have been a lot of fun lately and it seems I am always wearing my leopard espadrilles!
Have you checked out Walmart’s Time and Tru line? There are so many on trend, affordable pieces that I think you’d love.
Wearing white denim in summer with lightweight, short sleeve or even sleeveless tops can keep you cool and stylish. White is the perfect base piece for just about any top and accessories add all the fun.
I appreciate you stopping by today and wish you a magnificent Monday! I’ll be back on Wednesday!
