Today I’ve got some quick and easy summer outfit ideas to hopefully help inspire you to get dressed each day! Summer can be hard; it’s hot, it’s humid – who feels like getting dressed? I do as long as I can remain comfortable.
Summer Outfit Ideas
There are a few themes at play here: linen and lightweight cotton. In fact, my shorts are the pair I shared last week. My linen pants and linen button up were purchased last year but remain among the pieces I reach for time and time again.
I actually decided that since I loved the pink shorts so much I’d wear them twice! I wore them with the black linen button up on Friday and then with the striped pink button up on Saturday.
This is what I wore to dinner Friday night. I purposely changed into long pants because I am always cold in restaurants. Well…the joke was on me as the a/c was BROKEN at the restaurant! I would have been so much cooler in the shorts. They did have fans running but in FL that is just not nearly enough.
Monday I wore my wide leg linen pants (Old Navy last year) with this black tee. I made a reel you can check out here. This is such an easy outfit formula – black and tan/flax always work and look so chic.
If you are in the market for a good linen shirt, mine is from Quince and wears like a dream. This year’s version seems to have buttons that are the same color as the shirt, last year the buttons were white. Gap has some as well but I can’t speak from personal experience about their linen. I would imagine the quality is top notch!
