Remember on Friday when I showed you my new pink, cropped blazer? Well, it’s back and today I am sharing a few of the ways I’ll wear it.
Today I am actually wearing this outfit. It’s not a normal work from home day for me. I get to see my fabulous co-workers face to face for teacher pre-planning. The hotel is always cold and it’s HUGE so comfortable shoes are a must. But I am presenting my guidance plan to the staff so I not only want to be comfortable but put together.
Since it’s summer, white booties are the perfect shoe choice. I purchased these from Target and they’re the Universal Threads brand. They are leather and so comfortable! I am wearing a simple tank from Loft and gingham slim pants from Old Navy.
Of course I gad to pull out my white pants because white and pink are just so pretty and soft together. But take a look at my feet! I am wearing my new snake skin booties. They are both comfortable and affordable. I believe you’ll be seeing lots of snakeskin this fall and winter. It really is a neutral and these light colors make it a great bootie for right now and the coming months!
My button fly cropped jeans from Old Navy (option, option) are making an appearance after hibernating for a few months. Paired with my Converse Shoreline sneakers and again my white tank (plus) from Loft, I’d say I have a super casual look that I could wear just about anywhere.
Yet another casual look is pairing the cropped pink blazer with my Lilly Pulitzer scalloped edge shorts (option, option, option). The pinks don’t match perfectly but they work for me. While sandals would work just fine I choose my pink wedges. I actually wore this out to dinner Saturday night.
Of course you remember my look from Friday – styling this cropped pink blazer from Kohl’s with my Loft ponte skirt. I wore it on Thursday and it was so comfortable. i love a knit blazer – it holds its shape and doesn’t wrinkle. This blazer is from Candie’s and I just love the light pink color. It’s neutral enough to work with many colors and I am just getting started!
A cropped blazer is so versatile. It works well casually or even a little more dressed up. It’s the perfect weight as summer turns into fall. So, would you wear a cropped blazer? Do you have a favorite look?
Make this Monday a wonderful one beauties and I’ll see you back here on Wednesday!
