Style Six Link Up Week #2 - The Wedge Sneaker

Welcome to week 2 of our Style Six Link Up! I have a casual and fun outfit to share with you today featuring my wedge sneakers. When they first hit the fashion scene I doubted I’d ever wear them but now I see the need. They’ve rightfully earned a place in my wardrobe, how about yours?

I’ve come to realize they offer an attractive alternative to a flat sneaker for those of us who just love a heel. Pairing them with leggings or joggers for a stylish athleisure look is a great way to ease into wearing a wedge sneaker.Take a look at some of the ways I’ve worn mine!

With a little experience under my belt I am now ready to venture into unchartered territory (for me at least). How cute are they with these leopard print pixie pants? While my first instinct with these pants was to pull out my open toe booties it seemed my wedge sneakers spoke to me. It’s almost like they asked to give them a try. I am so glad that I did. Here’s the thing – you know I’m packing for a big trip, right? Well my wedge sneakers could pull double duty. They are almost the perfect hybrid – the comfort of a sneaker and the function of a boot.

Something else I have to share with you is my new bracelet. It is under $13 and there are many styles to choose from. It looks a lot like the Victoria Emerson cuff bracelets I have. I usually buy those when they are half off.
