Spring & Summer Accessories

One of the easiest ways to refresh your wardrobe for a new season is with accessories. Spring & Summer accessories are typically lighter, brighter and fun! Think straw bags, hats, brightly colored jewelry, you get the idea.

Today I’m sharing some budget friendly Spring & Summer accessories to refresh and update your wardrobe. Accessories can be an inexpensive way to update your basic wardrobe and make outfits feel new!

Earrings & Necklaces

I feel a little late to the earring party. You have probably seen these on many, many women already but I’m here to tell you they live up to the hype! I bought a 4 pack – it’s actually a little less expensive that way. They are lightweight even though they are large.

On a daily basis I prefer something smaller and gold. A simple gold hoop works for me. I’m not a fan of pairing a huge statement earring with a statement necklace – it’s too much in my opinion. My gold hoops from Amazon are worn on repeat along with a layered necklace from WHBM. I love the layered look of the necklaces – very trendy right now! Although this set was inexpensive, it’s held up well and has not tarnished. I noticed some great options on sale at Express – they are only $10!

Bracelets

My acrylic bracelets have been on repeat for some time. Mine are from Canvas but Amazon has some as well. Pieces like these are trendy so I only buy them when they’re on sale. I love all the bright colors and they’re lightweight.

If you like to accessorize at the beach or pool, these bracelets are a great option. I have had mine for a few years now and they’ve held up very well.

Bags

When I think of Spring & Summer accessories I think of straw bags, how about you? A large straw tote is a stylish option to carry all the necessities to the pool or beach. I’ve had one from Express for years and another, larger one from Kohl’s. Look for a lined bag with a tight weave for added durability.

A straw handbag is a great accessory to lighten up and refresh your daily looks! It’s amazing how easily a straw handbag transforms an outfit. Walmart has great bags under $50 that look so much more expensive.

Straw is not the only bag option; lighter colored leather works well too. A crossbody is my bag of preference, no shoulder or elbow pain for me! But depending on your needs, you might want a satchel or bucket bag. I was recently gifted this crossbody bag and I love the size and shade. It’s fraction of the cost of this bag and every bit as good.

Shoes

Spring & Summer means time to pay attention to our toes again! Show off your cute pedicure with a great pair of sandals. Depending on your footwear needs, you can choose to save or splurge in this category. While I don’t feel the need to spend a lot on earrings, shoes are one area that I will not skimp on. Too many foot issues to grab a pair of cheap shoes because they’re cute, I am focusing on only buying shoes that are comfortable AND cute.

My love for Vionics has been re-ignited and has made a huge difference in the plantars fasciitis. They have some great technology that helps keep your heel supported and I swear – alleviates the pain. So, if you have similar pain and have thought the only option is a sneaker – think again!

If foot pain is not a concern, I love Target’s versions of trendy shoes at affordable prices. My favorite wedges from last year are available once again. But they also have other on-trend styles as well!

Hats

A hat is not only a functional Spring & Summer accessory but it also elevates an outfit. Find a shape that works best for you and then enjoy! I have a few straw hats but I am in the market for a packable version. I’ve seen these hat bands too; they add a little something special to any hat!
