This first week of Spring brings favorites of all kinds – sweaters, tanner, a few books. Basically random Spring favorites.
Spring Favorites – Sweaters
I’m not certain I have ever understood what a Spring sweater was until now. Lightweight, colorful and affordable are the words I’d use to describe these sweaters. Worn with slacks, denim, shorts, or even a skirt, these versatile sweaters are perfect for Spring!
I love the lavender color of this henley style sweater. The sleeves are a slight balloon shape. It comes in 4 colorways and is just $10 right now. How cute would this be for Easter?
The second Spring sweater is so soft and feels so much more expensive than its current price – $10!It had been $36. I’m wearing a medium. Navy with white stripes, gives me all the nautical and preppy vibes.
Spring Favorites – Self Tanner
Spring means showing more skin and I like mine to have some color, safely. Self tanner has been a staple in my self care routine for years. By far, my favorite is Loving Tan. Here’s why: it dries quickly and the color develops in 2 hours. It also has no smell or odor but the reason I buy it and continue to buy it is because of the quick drying time. Use the mitt to help apply evenly without streaking.
I have tried all the drug store brands as well as some higher priced versions. None compare. Have you tried it yet?
Spring Favorites – Books
I can hardly discuss Spring favorites without mentioning a few good books. I love reading any time I get the chance. Usually I get recommendations by reading other blogs or I get my Amazon Prime free Kindle download each month. I keep a Pinterest board of books I want to read and regularly request titles from my library. Here are the books I am either currently reading or have recently finished reading:
- The Lobotomist’s Wife by Samantha Greene Woodruff (reading on my Kindle)
- The Magnolia Palace by Fiona Davis
- Leaving Time by Jodi Picoult
- Pack Up the Moon by Kristan Higgins

Not so Spring Outfits
These are a few of the outfits I wore this week, not to Spring, right? The weather is all over the place here – but mostly warm. I am wearing my favorites as much as I can before the really hot temps arrive. My dark, flare leg denim and of course my blazer. These are the outfits I wore to a Johnny Cash tribute band concert, just a day of working from home, and what I wore to my niece’s lacrosse game.
Don’t forget, last week I shared my new Jambu sandals and my code TBSBS22 is good for 20% until May 23!
That wraps it up for today friends, I hope you have a great weekend! I’ll see you back here on Monday!
