Shop for Spring at Target

First of all, Happy President’s Day friends! I hope you’re home from work today doing something American like spending your money on all the fabulous President’s Day sales! Yes, thank you George Washington for being born and giving us all an opportunity to engage in what makes America so American! I mean who doesn’t love a little capitalism? But I digress, you didn’t come here to read about what you already know.

If you live in Florida or a similar climate welcome to the unofficial season of Spring. It’s hard to call it Winter when our temps are in the mid to high 80’s. Even when I run at 5am it is warm, it’s also ridiculous. I have literally gone from wearing sweaters to shorts and tank tops in the span of a few days.

If you are still in the throes of Winter no worries, Spring will be here before you know it and now is the time to start planning. There are great sales to take advantage of right now. So whether you can wear these clothes immediately or you have to put them away for a few weeks this post is for you!

While I like to give you shopping options, what I found for today’s post is all from Target. I continue to be impressed with their selection and quality, I hope you are too!

Let’s talk cute basic, like a denim jacket. Take a look at this great basic , reasonably priced and a good cut! If you’d like something a little more feminine take a look at this one, how cute is that!
Take a look at how I wore my very old denim jacket last Spring:

This dress is stunning! The wrap style looks great on just about every body shape and the ruffle is so sweet and feminine! Clearly ruffles aren’t going anywhere, check out this wrap style maxi skirt, honestly doesn’t that just scream warmer weather?

These jeans are on trend and they just happen to be from Target’s new Universal Thread’s line. Their denim has gotten rave reviews and has been compared to the Madewell brand – much pricier! I love these too and I’d wear them with this swing top, these earrings, and these shoes! I love everything about it!

Speaking of shoes, this Spring and Summer there are some fun trends to try. I haven’t jumped on the mules bandwagon yet but these look way more expensive than their $25 price tag! Since I’m in search of a pair of nude heels I thought I might give these a try, they are under $15 and have a block heel!

Here’s a round up of all the pieces that caught my eye at Target:

I can’t wait to get my hands on a few of these! Do you have a favorite? What’s on your wish list for Spring and Summer? I’d love to know! Happy shopping my friends!
